Some strange scare mongering again. When talking about migrants:

“The predators and criminal aliens who poison our communities with drugs and prey on innocent young people. These beautiful, beautiful innocent people will find no safe haven anywhere in our country. And you’ve seen the stories about some of these animals. They don’t want to use guns because it’s too fast and not painful enough. So they’ll take a young, beautiful girl, sixteen, fifteen and others. And they slice ’em and dice ’em with a knife because they want them to go through excruciating pain before they die. And these are the animals we've been protecting for so long. Well they're not being protected any longer folks."

Won't somebody think of the children time? Where did he get that story from, watching late night horror?
He's such a smart guy, it's easy to be Presidential

I'm wondering: if, off the back of that pile of overly-dramatic story-telling, one of his 'followers' got tooled up and started shooting at 'immigrants', could they use that speech as a defence? Because it reads like incitement to me.

Probably from the fact that the Mexican cartels are operating in the US now and that's the kind of thing they do (not that there is any evidence of them doing it in the US of course). Makes a lovely scare story with a hint of truth about it.

I'm always for giving Trump the benefit of the doubt but I can not even bare to play that Scout address.

Slightly out of touch with the base.

Eh hem.

Why couldn't he have just had said

"I'm happy to address the young people of today who will carry our country forward, never so much so than the Scouts of America"

Etc etc.

Where the feck is Alastair Campbelll when you need him ?

I never thought I would end up saying that. smile

The way he talks about the huge record breaking crowd it's clear he thinks they're only there to see him. Like there wouldn't have been 40K or whatever scouts at their annual jamboree anyway.

Andrew Neil has tweeted that Washington is 'awash with rumours' that Mueller will be fired in August.
I posted that 5 hours ago. Trump can't fire him, Sessions is recused, Rosenstein won't fire him. Trump will fire Sessions or Sessions will resign and Trump will make a recess appointment thus circumventing confirmation. The new puppet AG will fire Mueller and we'll have civil war and a constitutional crisis.
Didn't the republicans keep going through recess with one person so Obama couldn't appoint people during the recess?
They controlled the senate then. I don't think the dems have that power as they don't control the senate.

The whole thing boils down to.

Can a business man move to politics and make the USA richer.

scratchchin

Forget everything else. That is why he was voted in by the unhappy.

Make me rich, I will be happy.

Problem is the POTUS is not omnipotent. In fact he's a cog in the wheel when the wheel has about 500 cogs.

They don't but the Republicans are so split they don't have to. Finally after 6 months the Republicans finally, after a split vote, decided to actually send the Affordable Care Act to be discussed.

And the GOP will then not agree on that discussion.

No GOP wants Mueller fired, like they don't want Sessions to go either.....

In a sane world it's probably for the best, extremely high levels of mental instability, oh but sorry, can't say that, not PC.

But with a 40% attempted suicide rate, it's probably a good idea not to let them near weapons or serious responsibility for others.

Grow up, telling the truth is not incitement - have you any idea what some of the imported criminal gangs have been doing in the USA, there is no limit to their depravity and violence.

So far it's only Trumps opponents that have successfully incited the shooting of politicians.

But if they're all on the beach with bucket and spade they won't be able to stop him. There's no way the republicans are going to keep the senate artificially "open" during recess to thwart him.

I imagine that poster is probably referring to this;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40275055

but I could be wrong as I find that poster frequently difficult to follow or understand.

The gist of that article is that the gangs are composed of US-born criminals who tend to pray on recent immigrants. Which is the opposite of what Trump claimed.

That's a bit of a stretch of interpretation. I'm glad we have a few miles of ocean between us and them as they make ISIS look like amateurs.

It's also hilarious that people have been laughing at Trump's supposedly incoherent utterings - when Obama was legendary for his reliance on his teleprompter and earpieces, with everything carefully choreographed with a team of experts making him look good. And of course the sympathetic press always tidied up transcripts of Obama's speeches, reporting what he was supposed to read, not all the stuttering and nonsense.
I've read some bks on here but this is right up there.

For a 1st-hand assessment of what Obama and several other Presidents are like in discourse, see below. The sane and rational might find this a touch more authentic than the ravings of a deranged internet Billy Bullstter:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/24/insider/the-new...
Even by Nasty's spectacular standards, that is a ridiculous post. It is plain to see in many videos of Obama when he is answering questions, making appearances on chat shows and other unscripted scenarios, he is articulate, thoughtful, witty and charismatic.

Very much everything Trump is not, actually, which may to a certain extent explain why Trump is obsessed with dismantling everything Obama did in office.

Where was Obama born, Nasty?
