Agree with this. The ste behaviour - boy scouts thing, egging cops on to beat suspects, all that is just the equivalent of Margo Leadbetter reaction shots when Tom walks in with his muddy boots. It amounts to nothing.

This will go one of two ways, a smoking gun will appear & he'll be impeached or it won't & we can sit back & enjoy the circus whilst crossing our fingers & hoping WW3 doesn't kick off in the meanwhile.

Imagine what the Scaramucci presidency will be like. And I'm not kidding, whoever follows Trump will be in he wake of a complete & total disregard for convention, ethics & norms. The game has changed & I doubt it'll go back to what it was before.
This

Apart from the immediate comedy value of the moron as POTUS, the USA is the most powerful and influential country on this planet, bar none.
Right now every 3rd class despicable rogue and villain in the world is probably brushing up on political posts in their country because hey if America can elect him, then why not me.
If evangelicals can support a person who represents everything they stand against, if the political system allows a man of such poor character to rise to the top of the barrel, then we are all fked. If the republican congress which is supposed to act as a counterweight to the presidency is ready to let anything go as long as they get reelected, which means getting tax relief for their sponsors who already have more money than they can spend in 4 lifetimes. If a significant %age of the population of the USA are so stupid/myopic/moronic as to believe this flimflam man is their saviour, then there is real trouble in this world.

This Orange conman has the ability to start ww3, you know the one before the war we fight with sticks and bones (Albert Einstein) I honestly think a good deal of the laughter going on here is nervous laughter stemming from our confusion that how the fk did this happen

The "best" that a nation of 320 million persons could apparently put forward as presidential candidates was this loon and that deranged witch Clinton. They thought the current loon was probably less damaging that the other appalling option. I'm not entirely convinced they were wrong, it's marginal.

Clinton was a terrible candidate and the personification of pretty much everything that was wrong with the US political system.....but Trump as a reaction? I guess the upside is that I think that Trump is a one off experiment. Surely the US electorate wouldn't be batst crazy enough to reelect him? His administration is a shipwreck already and he's massively undermining the US's preeminent superpower status......and China are stepping up to fill the void. This isn't good.

Why is Clinton a "deranged witch"? I know that she's probably to the left (politically speaking ) of many NP&E residents but that, in itself, doesn't mean she's actually left-wing. That's why I'm genuinely surprised how people can consider her to be equivalent to Trump.

Hang on - I thought he had a ringing endorsement from the glorious leader just the other day

And amazing criticism of someone who went to meet people and discuss. The nearest the glorious leader has been to conflict is arguing over the last pudding at Mar-A-Lago whilst wearing a fake military jacket

"who ate the last pudding? Sad"
Trump chickened out of Military service and, at the same time, publicly criticised a recognised war hero. He still managed to get elected.

It just shows that people will swallow any amount of bullst as long as it feeds their intrinsic hate.

Clinton is only to the left of the GOP (who are survival of the fittest and to hell with the rest ideologues). By any other standards she is to the right of 1st world politics. She was as in the back pocket of Wall St as any GOP candidate.

Interesting that you conflate being deranged with being left wing; I don't necessarily.

I think it was more a comment on the typical opinions expressed in NP&E laugh

neither do I, and it's strange that you would make the assumption.

So why do you think she's a deranged witch?

These serve to illustrate the sort of thing to which I'm referring; in retrospect though perhaps "witch" was too strong, I don't think she's that bright. Puppet would have been better.

Ah, the usual retorts from the defeated.

How's the job hunting going btw.. you need to think of life after brexit when your previously lucrative contact's look upon you as damaged goods...
