Picked this up at lunchtime, reviews look good, seems pretty much like a cross between TombRaider and Far Cry - anyone played it yet?

The reviews have been amazing on this, let us know how you get on as would love to push my PS4 Pro a bit more if I get it.

I've seen a couple of livestreams and it does look amazing. I'll be very surprised if I make it through the weekend without picking this up!

Played it for an hour after work and first impressions are good - lovely looking game, and very quick and easy to get into - As I expected there are a lot of similarities to Tombraider and Far Cry, (which isn't a bad thing), some almost identical like having camp fires as save points, killing the wildlife etc, really looking forward to getting more into it...

Is this more single player or online co-op? As in would the single player campaign be up to scratch?

As I understand it, it is exclusively single player. There is no co-op or online multiplayer whatsoever.

Had the day off yesterday and spent most of it playing this. From what I can see, it's a brilliant game, lives up to the hype which is nice for a change! I agree about it being a mixture of Far Cry and Tomb Raider.

Hadn't paid much attention to this until I saw a live stream the other night and now I'm very interested; single-player focus is a huge bonus for me too. Currently making my way through Hitman S1 so will take a look for this pre-owned in a few weeks I reckon.

Picked this up today and the wife is out tonight so I'll fire it up. Trailers and gameplay footage on YouTube make it look brilliant. I haven't played anything other than FPS or Driving games in a good few years.

For the people who have already played on this game - is it more of an action adventure game like FC3/Tomb Raider/Uncharted or full on RPG?

I picked this up yesterday and spent a few hours on it last night. Its very good so far and very cut scene heavy if you like that sort of thing (can skip). After a few hours I still don't think iv started to scratch the surface and im looking forward to what it is going to bring as I delve deeper into the wild land.

If you like Far Cry, Tombraider and Uncharted type of games then you will like this. Very good game so far.

I finally treated myself to a new TV and PS4 for my man-cave to get this game, really liked the trailers and have put a couple of hours in it so far (barely scratched the surface) and am really enjoying it, it looks great and game play is very solid.

Spent another couple of hours on this today mainly doing side missions to try and level up before I move deeper. I climbed a tall neck and as I was about to turn it off I discovered another enemy. Thought well its saved so lets have a go. It didnt end well for me, my arrows didnt do much damage so ill avoid these things for a while until im stronger, this is the first time I have died from a robot.

Im also not too sure about upgrading weapons, potions etc. Do they explain this further in the game? Im about a level 12 and I have only currently upgraded my bag to carry more items.

Stealth kills have made it slightly easier.

Any body got any feedback on the game's PS4 Pro enhancements? Just ordered a Pro to replace my vanilla PS4 and looking for something to help showcase the upgrade.
