Fast & Loud loses AK
Discussion
He did an interview with an American tuning mag where he says it was to do with the low rent builds they were doing. The pantera particularly. He hated the time constraints of the builds and said the TV side of it meant he couldn't do what he loves doing. He mentioned clashes of personality too but didn't mention names.

Hmmm. Edd China has just announced (about an hour ago live on FB) his reasons for leaving Wheeler Dealers - to do with cheapening of the technical/workshop sections of the show by a new production company.Pattern is emerging here!
Don't blame him and personally I thought it was a matter of time. Richard comes across as a bit of a pain to work with and AK was the talent. I have someone working with/for me who's equally as pivotal and I gave him shares. What did Richard do with AK? Charge him for the falcon at almost retail price when he wanted to go racing. At that point the writing was on the wall.
I think he's great and will do well producing good quality niche products at a premium. Good luck to him.

The difference between Kaufman and Ed china is that Kaufman hasn't got a business that went bankrupt last summer owing circa £685k... I wonder if that had anything to do with China leaving the show?
Personally I think Richard Rawlings and Mike Brewer would do well together; both aholes that claim to know everything there is to know about cars but the reality is they don't, and their shows rely on others for the talent and knowledge...

On these type of show the stars make money from the TV company, based on how popular they are within the show.I think he's great and will do well producing good quality niche products at a premium. Good luck to him.
As an example Chumlee on Pawstars is just the hired help, but in reality he makes enough from the show to fund a Rolls Royce (and quite a few other cars).
I suspect AK has made enough from it that he can walk away and do what he wants, without having work for anyone.

OT, but...... and...
Finally...
I'm suspecting that had nothing to do with it though.
