Thankfully we are not them.

You seriously cant look at the politics of the last 20 years and not see whats coming down the line? It's the only thing that will stop the EU becoming a state long term. UK doesn't matter, we were always a periphery issue to where the mainland politics will develop. We would have been a nice addition to drag along, but we aren't a game changer for the way the EU develops.
I don't share your paranoid vision. The terms of our membership belie it. You've made a choice based on extrapolation not borne out by facts imo & informed by decades of poisonous nationalist narrative & that's your business.
And they say Remainers are the doom merchants laugh

I am an optimist for the UK.

Maybe you cant see what you have bought into, It may be you don't care for nation states, that's a position you are entitled to hold, but isn't the one the UK has chosen.

If he EU survives the st storm that is coming, then you will see how right i am about what the EU will become because the UK wont change where its going.

You make grand claims about nation states a razor thin vote that for anyone reasonable looking on other than someone possessed by religious zeal would say is really a country saying we're not sure & again in the absence of a clinching argument, lapse into hubris, which is something you're prone to I've noticed. 'You will see' etc etc. It's really cringey, dude. I should do less of it if I were you.

More utter rubbish, packaged up in Oh so clever words to beguile your lack of thinking.

I think you'll find every Nation wants an identity when the chips are down and there is nothing wrong with having pride in your Country, something you seem to have little of?

The only religious Zeal I see is from you and your undying support for the EU, no matter how they behave.

I hope the grown ups (state leaders)have now decided to be sensible and bypass these zealots

My comment doesn't say anything about the vote to leave dynamics.

There were two choices, continue down the path of EU integration or leave and rebuild the UK as an independent nation state.

The UK chose to do the latter.

You're the clown who posted the direct opposite of what the PM said an hour after she said it on the other thread it & you think you've got any credibility? Have a word with yourself.

I'm beginning to wonder if you even read what you write. I was always taught to put a comma in from time to time if I wanted to be understood - and to keep sentences short and to the point. Perhaps you didn't get that far at your school.

These are my sentiments but I think the majority of brexit voters did not think like this.

Sorry but I must sound like a broken record.

Until the N.I border issue is resolved (still no valid solutions I might add) then brexit will not happen. Simples.
