Question - given the scale of the blast, does it strike anyone as odd that a casualty figure was so readily available and so precise? Not intending to be conspiratorial, I'm just struggling to believe there'd be enough left of anyone underneath that to even facilitate a body count. Something doesn't quite feel right about it.
Crossed my mind too -

rofl if I'd seen that I'd have thought it was a mini nuke or something, what was the small explosion before the main one?

That's a Houthi weapons facility exploding in Yemen, in 2015; not the MOAB.

Makes sense. The USAF Moab clip from the air doesn't show any nearby buildings at all.

They didn't check themselves in as safe on Facebook

Casualty count has been upped to 90, apparently. Good, the more of the vermin that have been exterminated the better.

Frightening is an understatement. You would think it's a Nuke and I'm sure many IS scum are running in the opposite direction.

I googled how it works ..... "The first blast detonates and spreads highly flammable aluminum dust and the second is the baric blast - which literally sucks oxygen out from cave tunnels before rapidly becoming an expanding shock wave.
Both the implosion and the blast wave cause massive internal damage to anyone who has not been already been incinerated by the explosion, with most injuries to hollow organs such as the ears, lungs and stomach'

96 Isis confirmed dead... No civilian casualties yet.

Seems like this was a success.

Yes its amazing that we in the west appear to now be able to make bombs that are selective in who the detonation actually kills. Collateral damage is a thing of the past woohoo

96 raving loons all dispatched with the minimum of fuss!

Or more likely everyone killed gets labelled as a terrorist.

Just to underline the previous posting that the video is not the MOAB but the Yemen explosion from 2015, here is the Houthi Weapons Depot In Yemen explosion uploaded to youtube in 2015 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruiKa1GQ9jo

No civilains anywhere near the detonation point. There are nearby villages, however they have been deserted for some months owing to the heavy fighting which as been taking place in the area over the past months. Apparently, ISIS had made the place into a near impregnable fortress with IEDs pepered about all over the place. Hence the use of the bomb.

If the blast wave detonated the IED's then the whole area would be safe to investigate. Result all round really.
