Snap General Election?
Discussion
I'm sure whatever the announcement it will be a disappointment after all this speculation.
An election now could actually save the Labour party. But how does she get one? She needs support of opposition MPs to call an election and how many Labour MPs would vote to lose their jobs? And the Lib Dems would be a threat to some Conservative seats as well.
A vote of no confidence could happen but then I think parliamentary rules mean that Corbyn would get a fortnight to form an alternative government before any election could take place.
But May 4th election would make sense if she feels she needs a huge majority to get Brexit done.

My £10 is on her resignation
Just been for a walking holiday with hubby. Smelling the flowers.
Realising life's too short for this political BS and dealing with Drunkard over the next two years.
"I never sought this office after the ham-faced chancer before me did a runner and I feel the country's interests best served by another etc etc".

Not the Queen, would be announced by the palace. Perhaps snap GE, response to SNP referendum, or some significant resignation.
Would a GE help with Scotland and the SNP calls for a indyref? Would the SNP loose a significant number of seats? I'm not sure.
Hoping it is not a major resignation.
