One of those jokey options would require a u-turn from NS.

"Nicola Sturgeon rules out SNP coalition with Labour at Westminster"
Given her primary basis for independence is that Scotland 'always gets the Tory government it never votes for' it would stretch credibility too far for her to enter a coalition and govern the UK which not only did the English/Welsh not vote for, they didn't even have the option to vote for.

If I was English I wouldn't accept that. It would be a complete affront to democracy and could risk civil unrest. I also can't see the win from the SNP point of view. They're not interested in the UK, they'd be on a hiding to nothing a la the LibDems last time and I would think sections of their support would see it as a sell out.

The only coalition partner for either side is wee Timmy Farron with his handful of seats.

Although having said all that iirc the last time the SNP were wanting to 'lock the Tories out of Westminster' with Miliband, so nothing the rancid wee cow does would surprise me.

The Tories themselves said this morning, today, they "fully expect to fall behind Labour in a poll in the coming days. It will happen"
Are you now of the view that what "The Tories" say is accurate and believable even when it's not attributed to any particular Tory? You must have been switching sides to vote Conservative while you were typing. Amazing!

Cretin.

I'm beginning to despair of all politicians whichever side of the divide they are on.

They show less tact, common sense and intellect than most of us on here, yet they believe they are capable of governing us.

Agreed - many appear to be well out of their depth and would struggle to hold down a minimum wage job, let alone anything with any real responsibility.

Are these people just utterly moronic? Did she really sit there thinking "I know a joke which will go down really well!"

Jesus wept. This is the calibre of some politicians.

Worse still, some of us believe they are capable of governing us.

I'm actually serious in saying I think I could do a better job and not make as many cock ups as these people. And I'd say the same about a great many posters on this site. There are some clever people on here who simply couldn't do any worse than these imbeciles.

Channel 4 tonight at 8.30 pm. TM vs JC. Quizzed by Paxman.

Hope Corbin comes across as the dangerous weasel he seems to be.

She misspoke, tried to be humorous in this awkward time, it just wasn't the place for it clearly. It'll probably hurt her in the week to come.

I've just watched May's election broadcast. She basically said "for god's sake, don't let Jezza in". I don't think that's the best approach considering she called the election in the first place.

And someone is getting paid to come up with those tactics!

Whoever is responsible for the Tory campaign is about as much use as an inflatable dartboard.

Expect a lot of repetitious nonsense. He knows what the show stoppers are and the truth is to be avoided at all costs. I do expect the Conservatives to gain several points this week.

Diane Abbott will come up. It will be interesting to watch him squirm.

It needs to be shouted from the roof tops at every opportunity " FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T LET JEZZA IN".

You keep saying this, but the polls aren't reflecting it.

Why do you think they will suddenly change? The Tory campaign is an utter shambles.
