A woman in her twenties was shot by the Police in London's glamourous Willesden, during an anti-terror operation. In a serious condition in hospital.

I'm sure she must have had it coming.

Haha, you have no clue what happened but still stick a barbed comment in anyway. Get back to your Tories in the football tax raids thread.

Would you like to tell me what happened?

The spectre of John Charles Menezes always lurks in the background of these types of police operations.

5 shots fired and no ones died.... (yet)

Some training needed perhaps?

We don't know, but like the comment here and the football tax raid thread, it doesn't stop you from ever posting clueless crap.

Especially as the woman in charge on the day has just taken over at The Met.

Oops.

The house was CS Gassed by the police and it was at this time the woman was shot.

Sounds reassuring.

Why don't you tell us what happened and why.

Someone has been shot by The Police, we have no idea why. It's not as though they haven't shot anyone before that they shouldn't have.

Just because they have done it before doesn't automatically mean it has happened this time - but obviously there is always the possibility.

You do know that irony has nothing to do with ironing, don't you?

You suggest by insinuation and innuendo and then, by the same method, accuse someone else of jumping to conclusions.

Is there something you'd like to get off your chest?

You don't know what happened. In fact, we don't know what happened. What we do know, however, is that there will be a full investigation into the shooting, as there always is. Then we will be better informed.

A non-sexist heading might be: Police officers put themselves at risk to protect the public. If the enquiry comes to the conclusion that the officers acted bravely, I'm sure that you will start a thread so headed.

They've also shot a lot that they should have.

I'm sure she did. They wouldn't have shot her otherwise, would they.

Oh hang on, are you implying that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time? How unfortunate.

Nor that they have successfully shot people they should have.

Do you have a point at this stage?

The four people in custody are a man and a woman, both aged 20, a 43-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. All four have been arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist acts under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Four people also in the house arrested as above. Presumably there was a kerfuffle.

If that is the case, it most certainly would be very unfortunate.

They went in at 7pm - I'd suspect that means something was very imminent.

Yes, I wonder if she was complicit in the perjury they all committed when they cooked up a story that was later shown to be a lie by CCTV?
JCDM case still stinks to this day.

It is unusual for a planned raid to be at that time of an evening when there might be a lot of passers by.
