I disagree with the fact that on a point of principle you are prepared to wilfully and deliberately be cruel.

I disagree with the rationale for your point of principle.

You keep asking to be engaged in debate but you refuse to acknowledge anything that doesn't support your position. I disagree with that, it isn't how debate works. You lash out at anyone who remotely challenges you. I disagree with that.

I disagree with your evasive reply to descentia.

I disagree that you would actually do any of the things you claim you would do, if presented with these situations in real life.

Expansive enough?

Yes, I appreciate the reply.

I haven't got anything else to add to that and I am not going to comment on what you disagree with, everything I've wanted to say can be found on previous posts, I think I've gone round in circles enough.

Wow. A satirical website that posts spoof articles for humour is complete fiction and is made up? Who knew?

So you have literally posted exactly what it says on that link which is garbage, it makes no sense, and is likely complete fiction, it isn't relevant to this topic in the slightest.

What was the evidence that Karen was shown that apparently proved her wrong?
Maybe sit the next few out?

I've never seen someone tie themselves in knots so much to justify their desire to be cruel.. Bizarre.
this ain't the only thread where that happens!

Not dismissing anything
One line drive by posts like "you can't change DNA" are extremely dismissive and argumentative as well. But you knew that when you posted it.

But the crux is, people have to support anything that makes anyone feel better - where as I don't
Yeah, being kind is such hard work. I hope that if you ever have any issues in your life where you need kindness, acceptance and support, you don't find yourself surrounded by people who don't want to make you feel better.
I was raised in an environment with very little support. I turned out fine.
Difference is that if i end up ill or needing "kindness acceptance and support" it won't because I'm deluded into thinking I'm a woman.

Short replies are cos i have better things to do (namely take a dump).

First off, I've cleared that up for you nicely bhstewie, nut let's just make sure everyone can see what a proper tosser you are. I am apparently the one that beggars belief for not thinking about feelings, yet you do the exact same thing, I couldn't make this stuff up.
Sticks and stones dude.

Happy for others to make their own minds up on that one.

On another thread a while ago you mentioned you were taking anti-depressants and had been for years. (FWIW I took the same ones for about six months, so I am not judging you)

Did you not need any kindness or support then? Maybe think about how you got in that position and how people around you not being total sts might have helped you.

Or, you know, don't. Because you aren't "deluded", you're "fine".

Again I get very little help or support regarding that.
I still manage!!! Despite all that I have incredibly thick skin . Can't remember the last time I got offended!!!

But as I have said before i suffer from some mental conditions I have done things about it.
Therapy. Counselling. Medication. Life style changes.

It's a far stretch but i have not tried to make every one think depression and anxiety are normal.
People may accept me for it but they don't have to agree with it . Many people still say man up etc. That's fine. I just nod and move on.

Yeah, I'll find another thread to express my opinion and discuss my point of view. Just what a forum is for.

You continue trolling this thread though as that appears to be what you are good at, you trolled me easily enough.Looking back at the last 20-30 pages it's the same names replying and attacking anybody that has negative opinion on this subject. Plenty trolls on here and I ain't one of them.

Enjoy getting upset over other people points of view laugh

Anyone reading our respective posts in this thread can form their own opinion on each of us, and decide who is the more trollish.

I'm only upset over a 'point of view' if it is based on ignorance and bigotry, and my response is to provide information and knowledge in the hope that an uninformed opinion can become an informed one.

I contribute to this thread because I am a trans woman and the issues discussed directly relate to me.

Following a conversation in the pub, did anyone who is transitioning or is thinking of transitioning see a psychiatrist or psychologist before making the decision?

We've had the trans people and toilet debate a million times over. But which toilets/changing rooms do non binary people use?

Thank you, I take it you're going for a full sex change?

What about those who are not having surgery, have you seen anyone before making your decision?

Regardless of precisely what treatment you do or do not want to under go, you need to be signed off by at least two doctors/therapists trained in gender identity as being diagnosed with gender dysphoria before receiving medical treatment. This goes even with private services under the 'informed consent' model in this country.
