Horrible news to wake up to. We're taking our 4 year old to see Little Mix later this year, so this brings it too close to home.

Seen on facebook an old work friend picked his two kids up and got home ok, my heart goes out to those that didn't.

Sickened this morning hearing the news. Working very close to there at the moment and been told not to bother today as site will be inaccessible, so they have closed a large area.

Los of interviews on the radio stations this morning. Not one asked if anyone actually saw the perpetrator.

I sincerely hope that this was a random gas explosion or similar at a foyer food stand rather than a random act of violence by a sad and misguided individual!

Sensationalism and speculation will be the undoing of humanity frown

Grim

Thoughts with those affected

Waiting on news relating to perpetrators and whether press reports suggesting this was flagged 4 hours in advance (mentioned on lbc around 615) are substantiated

Far too busy reading the guardian and thinking that talking about terrorism is more damaging to humanity than the acts themselves.

Makes me think of the bomb the IRA placed in a bin outside McDonald's in Warrington in 1993. Next to a wall where kids sat and ate their food. I walked past it earlier that day. I was 12.

BBC reporting it as a suspected suicide bomber.

Absolutely awful, watching the parents waiting for kids when we have 2 young teenagers in the house.....

Yep, lots of 'news' and social media etc.

Lots of unsubstantiated speculation, lots of witnesses describing an explosion and panic.

When it's confirmed with actual substantiated evidence that this was a deliberate act of violence then fair enough but right now that isn't the case and any talk of suspects and retaliation is just unhelpful and achieves nothing but perpetuating the cycle of hatred and violence!

Absolutely shocking events. Heartbreaking to think of people losing their children at any time, let alone like this.

No they're not, that's a single sentence 'Unconfirmed reports from two unnamed US officials suggest the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber'

The BBC should know better than to publish that kind of unsubstantiated speculation!

Blatant targeting of young kids, I didn't think it possible but this is a new low.
Don't sit back yet! I fear that we have not yet witnessed the lowest of the depths to which theses scum are prepared to sink!

Very sad news.

A kid in my son's class was at the concert, but left half way through as she didn't feel well.

Please give it up. You are not adding anything of use.
