Hi R - hope well! After your positive comments on the 997.2 RS, I just bought this but I blame you!

Happy to take the blame but , Jesus , Andrew , this is getting out of hand ! That is absolutely lovely - what an amazing thing it is - huge presence ! I have to say, I've never driven one , but if it's baby brother is anything to go by it will be a piece of work.

Thoughts ?

Nice vid, but the summation of the 964RS v's the 993RS was probably the biggest load of drivel I've heard. If it was a comparison between the RS America and the 993 RS, it was probably accurate, but most definitely not a Euro spec 964 RS.

Yanks, feckin hethens. No wonder the bods at Stuttgart didn't bestow some of the best RS models upon them.Their loss, our gain biggrin

Morning Steve, I was waiting for one of the contributors in the video to say "Of course, the 2.7 RS would've been a better car with half a ton of Chevy small block in its engine bay....." laugh

964 RS comments struck me as odd too. Never been lucky enough to drive a 964RS but I vividly remember first seeing one and there is no way the car I saw, or more yet heard, was a "lightly massaged" Carrera. The noise and attitude of the engine alone mark it out as distinctly different.

Some classic 911 racing porn would be fantastic.

Saving my pennies for an RSR.

If you get an RSR than that's me and you well and truly finished - I'm prepared to overlook the others but that would be taking the p*ss.

Lovely film. Great to see these cars together. Some odd comments that were surprisingly wide of the mark but a nice film nonetheless

Thank you for posting
