Always liked a Miami Blue gti.

A good haggle might get it into thread budget.

Lovely cars to live with, just inside the budget and just in time for the sunny weather:

Me too. Not sure what I'd look like driving it, though, I'm 6' 4" wink

Handles like a boat, not sure how you expect a boat to handle.

Slightly over budget but original/unmolested ones of these are becoming very appealing to me.

Lots of money spent. Perhaps a bit more to go. It's only £1,500 though. And retro. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C861336?dt=1

I love these. There was a PHer on the barge thread that had a bad experience with a rather rotten one though!

Turrets turrets turrets

Then rear chassis rails just above the rear subframe

The good news is without being fitted with sill covers the sills are normaly fantastic condition

Manual would be my preference but I've owned autos and manuals and both are nice

I love the Monza and its cousins but I haven't seen a non-rotten one for years.
