The UK government will permit any remaining funding from previous allocations of shared education and housing to be dispersed flexibly within this Spending Review Period.
So £1 Billion+ bribe when there is a good chance Re-moaner Tories could vote against the government regardless. Any deal was better than no deal here though. The Welsh may well kick up a fuss soon demanding some more for themselves too.

So she fked up the election with possibly the worst conservative manifesto in history and now does a deal that gets rid of pretty much all the worst parts of the manifesto bar the watered down social care policy.

I thought it before but she sabotaged the election for a soft Brexit.

Not sure a billion in cash & the loss of WFA & pension allowance changes whilst getting into bed with a bunch of ex terrorists who believe the earth was created considerably quicker than it's taken to do this deal is cause for rofling when the object of the exercise was to achieve a 100+ majority & cement Maybot's grip on power but we're all different.

1. The 'ex' bit is important'
2. The pension allowance changes wouldn't have happened under Corbyn either, so doesn't really matter.
3. You obviously fail to understand what I was laughing at, even though it should have been fairly obvious from my post. Never mind.

Now that is a rofl. It must be Monday, as it's another sneering post from Sidekick about everyone else failing to understand. rofl

No, just you it seems. I think it is 100% clear and unambiguous what I'm laughing at in my post:

Which bit were you struggling with?

No surprise that you'd pretend I'd said something entirely different and then resort to personal point scoring. sleep

So the magic money tree DOES exist after all? Who would have thunk it!

On a side note, a deal with the DUP goes unquestioned however if there ever was talk of a deal with the SNP all hell would break loose!

Second side note, the talk of Corbyn being a terrorist sympathiser is a joke compared to needing the support of a political party with terrorist links!

Third side note, magic money tree money, will it be spread the way of all devolved parliaments then?

And pretty unambiguous that in my view spunking a billion up the wall is the final nail in the coffin of a disastrous general election & no laughing matter. A pity that you combine an unfortunate manner with word blindness & a willingness to argue night and day over absolutely anything & everything. As I'm only the latest in a long, long line of people here who gave pointed this out to you to no effect whatsoever, over to you for the last word... as usual.

Goes unquestioned? Haven't there been numerous threads / posts about this?

Isn't there quite a difference between someone who supports / sympathises with actual terrorists and an organisation that denounced terrorism quite some time ago?

? No magic money tree needed, just some borrowing that will need to be repaid.

The magic money tree comments were in relation to Labour's spending commitments which totaled tens of billions of pounds.

As I understand it actual new money for NI is £1bn (£500m having already been committed prior to the agreement) .

At no point have I suggested that the DUP tie-up is appropriate, nor a laughing matter (whatever you might claim).

No, just arguing with tts like you who seem determined to provoke an argument about something I've quite clearly not said.

You decided to respond to my post to mis-represent (or misunderstand, despite it being blatantly obvious) what I was commenting on, in order to provoke an argument.

Then you're surprised that I picked you up on it.

Finding an extra 1bn is tiny compared to what Labour were going to spend.

Corbyn chooses to keep the company of actual terroists, mourn their dead etc. May has a choice of doing it, or losing power. Hobson's choice really. Do you think she would make this agreement otherwise?

The current DUP are not terrorists.

My Facebook is awash with Labour voters accusing the Tories of using public money to bribe their way in to power.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

With regard to the ex terrorists, some of these would be murderes, yes ?

How exactly does one become an ex murderer.

This is a bargain compared to the economic consequences a Corbyn led government would have cost the country.

Nevertheless, as pointed out above had May just left the pensions triple lock, winter fuel payments alone to begin with she may well have got her majority anyway.

So Good Friday agreement scuppered then, given the government is supposed to remain impartial?
