Hi,

I have a new HP Elitebook 850 G3 as a work laptop. WiFi is ok for browsing and emails, but downloading a file seems to be impossible.

I have been trying to download Whatsapp desktop app, which starts to download, then slows and fails. I try with my old laptop using the same WiFi and it works fine.

If I connect the new laptop to the router with an Ethernet cable, I have no problems. I've downloaded the latest driver, I have tried uninstalling the network adapter and re-installing, I have tried various different settings within the WiFi router (VM Hub 3.0) but nothing seems to work.

Has anybody experienced anything similar before?

Thanks

I have the same problem with a couple of my Windows Tablets when downloading from the Windows Store over wifi.

Connect using a cable, and it works fine.

I found the WhatsApp application to be sluggish btw; recommend using it in the browser instead, works great.
