I'll be going there Wednesday evening with a couple of friends if the weather is good and dry. At the moment the forecast is good. There are always awesome cars, good food, crowd of people, owners and visitors. It's a perfect place to meet and of course fly the flag for the Wedge. It's the British sports car evening, and I've enjoyed it every time I've been.

Once again I was the only one with a Wedge at the Ace Cafe today, in fact I was the only one with a TVR. There were a lot of other people and cars though. Mainly Lotus' and there was even an Aston Martin and a McLaren. Nice weather and good food. A few tried to convert me to Lotus but I think I'll hang on to TVR even if I do eventually change for a newer curvy model.

ACE Cafe is on again for British sports cars this Wednesday. Is anyone going if the weather is good? I might take a trip with a few friends if the weather permits.

Not been to Ace Cafe before but fancy a trip there on Weds. What's the best time of day to arrive there?

Hi James, it starts at 6pm but most cars start arriving after 7pm. Having said that try to aim for around 7pm to get a better parking place. Everyone with a British sports or performance car is shown a parking place by the attendant as he arranges them nicely and tries to keep models together. It's a historic Cafe and some weeks the local press and photographers turn up for a photo shoot. It's a friendly atmosphere and there can be cars ranging from a kit car to a McLaren and of course it's a Cafe where you can eat and drink too.
I've been there many times and enjoyed it every time. Weather is looking promising for Wednesday night so lets hope it stays dry and we can all meet up.

I hope this also answers the questions for those who've sent me a pm asking about the meet.

God willing I hope to see you all there.

Weather looks good so we can expect a good turnout of most British sports cars and a few TVR's. Wishing you all a safe journey there and back.

Good turnout at the ACE tonight. Good to see you Gavin and Andy and a few others. Four wedges and a Griff in the TVR section plus many other makes of British sportscars. A friend of mine turned up in his Lotus Esprit turbo. A few Jags and even an immaculate e- type plus many other interesting cars. The weather was nice, An altogether, another enjoyable evening.

Hi

Yes don't forget the V8S Tony. It was great run down to the Ace tonight in my 450SEAC, it's the first time I have been there since before my accident in 2011.
A good friend Paul came along in my SX350 and he made some recordings of the cars going through the Hatfield tunnel so hopefully he will post that up on you-tube.

It was nice to see Tony and Gavin again its four years since I last saw Gavin and two for Tony.

My 450SEAC and SX350

Tony's 400SE and Gavins 350i S1

That E-type was the best car there tonight and it was worth more than the rest of the cars there together!

Bloody norah Zig, only the SX missing.

Well, the Ace is accessible to Tony and i fairly easy, and Andy made the effort a few times also.

Only Dave chimp was missing, but only cos he was working.
Hope he can make it next time.

And as good as the pictures of the E-type are.......christ on a bike........in the flesh it was to die for.

Come on wedgers and fellow TVR other model type people........lets flood the ACE next time.

70 years of the Badge and all !!

Yes, it would be good to have a long line of TVR's outside the historic ACE Cafe. Especially this being the 70th anniversary etc. Only problem is of course the distance for most owners. It's convenient for me and Gavin but traveling there and back may be a problem for most. Still, God willing, I'm up for another meet there.
