I love the fact we have a Lemonaid epidemic in the UK rather than opoids and that nobody got shot

However, saying that, what's wrong with Vimto?

I think I might get my daughter to muscle into her territory next year.

THIS IS A NON STORY NOT SURE WHY SOMEONE REPORTING IT, SOMEONE ONE PH REPOSTING AND ME SPENDING TIME ON IT WHEN I COULD BE EATING A KEBAB

Such is the trivia of modern day internet living.

I had a go at my wife today for watching two hours of fat chicks trying on wedding dresses.

Then I succumbed to watching some bloke in Canada eating a burger

https://youtu.be/y1nqWrJ7c-s?t=171

Damn that looks good

I AM JUST AS BAD AS EVERYONE ELSE. PLEASE TAKE ME TO THE ISLE OF MAN WHERE THEY CAN BIRCH ME AND GIVE ME A 56k 28800 MODEM FOR MY SINS

The council were absolutely correct to prosecute.
I doubt that this youngish woman was keeping a record for tax or VAT purposes.
Think of the guy that owned the nearby corner shop, him having to pay rent ,business rates, utilities and staff renumeration.
This tells you all you need to know about how this once great country has lost it's sense of direction and fairness.
A short, sharp, shock jail sentence is appropriate to restore a strong and stable governance.
totally agree,

let her get away with this, next thing she will be pushing a stainless steel trolley around Trafalgar square selling warmed up whippets cocks in old flannels and skinning tourists.
Such crimes cannot just be Schweppes under the carpet.
clap

Imagine what she would be doing after midnight

That's shows 11-12p/h. If that's not minimum, it's very, very close to it. It's a st job, for st money, and unsurprisingly you get expected level of employees.
Council apologized, those involved will be shouted on by someone on £1ph more than them, and life will go on.
WTF planet are you on?! That's way above minimum wage FFS.

Some people on here are so far removed from reality. Or pretend to be rolleyes

Missing the point as usual. For £11 p/h you'll get kind of people that'll issue a ticket to 5yr old and her father for lemonade stand. It's irrelevant if it's official min wage or not.

Out of interest, have you ever made a post where you don't just insult and belittle people?

I think there is more to the spin mum and the media are putting onto it. I would guess they came over and had a chat, mum went all 'human rights of my precious child' and it resulted in a stand off and eventual fine.

If you want your kid to sell lemonade, do it outside your blimmin house, don't go to a commercial operation where vendors are paying to be present.

Snowflakes.

Let us fool the stupid public by tugging on heart strings parent said:
"My daughter clung to me screaming 'Daddy, Daddy, I've done a bad thing.' She's five."
rofl They deliberately set up a stall, near to peak traffic footflow to a commercial event.

Also how often does a national paper let just anyone publish a full article? The dad did one for the Telegraph so guessing he is a journo/linked to the industry who say an opportunity for 5 mins of fame/quick cash http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/fatherhood/5-year-o...

All of this is just pathetic supposition to justify some bizarre anti "snowflake" rant.

This is the dad's latest work, he is getting free publicity for himself and to flog his books to emotional fools. He is a professor of organisational behaviour FFS. He is also a Guardian Journalist.

He wrote a full article on the Lemonade incident for the Telegraph. How stupid is everyone?

To get publicity for a book?

When the council came over and said ' please can you pack up and leave' as I guess they would initially, a normal parent would have done so. Someone whose career could potentially benefit from an incident may not have missed a golden opportunity.

As I wasn't there I can't say for sure, but that is where my money would go. You would now think that he can probably dine out on this incident for a while, no doubt some well paid speaking opportunities will be available as the PR angle has been done so smoothly in favour of this sobbing 5 year old damaged for life and in need of counselling child.
