Hi,

A quick images search for the interior of one of these cars shows a screen portion and underneath it, the control buttons and volume etc rotary controllers.

There's an increasing amount of specific fit and look head unit's available from the reputable and recognisable car audio head unit brands, however nothing for the Maserati's of the world! I'd say this was down to very little actual demand for such a unit.

With no direct experience of the car or any knowledge that I've read about, I don't know if there's a good potential solution for you. What do other Maserati owners suggest or think? I'll assume there are web forums for the brand and model you can look at?

I suspect, that with some 'jigging' around by a reputable and knowledgeable installer, and upon finding enough space in the dash area, one of the shallow fit double DIN head units 'might' fit. I'm not sure how much of the car's features are integrated within the oem head unit, but I'd suspect most if not all won't be able to be controlled or interfaced with any aftermarket head unit.

In the screen area, assuming a shallow depth, double DIN head unit can fit, you could connect excellent quality and small footprint amplifiers and then onto upgraded speakers for a significant step up in Sound Quality and 'leave' the oem modules in place (minus the screen unit/module). Upon selling the car, you can simply remove the aftermarket audio modules and 'return' the car to stock.

In addition to the above, you 'could' also look at installing a Car PC and nowadays, a Raspberry Pi driven computer and see if anyone out there can 'interface' it with the Maserati setup so that you can control the features that the oem head did.

Cost will be a significant factor too, how much are you currently thinking to invest/spend for a solution you'd like ?

Cheers, Dennis!

Really not sure ££££

I would happy spend money for the right solution.
I'm wondering if the system from a new face lift model could be installed?

Just need someone to total one!
