You should try going to the 9/11 memorial and museum in NY. This sounds wrong but it’s a great place. Obviously the event was st but the memorial and museum are really nice and respectful and very well done and informative.
I was there last year and until you see the stuff there you just don’t realise or appreciate the scale of what happened and how many people suffered. There are boxes of tissues all through the place so people who are a bit overwhelmed and crying can grab some.
I have a heart of stone and no empathy so just found it all very educational but my wife who is a bit more normal was lightly traumatised by it and wanted to leave so we kinda skimmed the last few exhibits

What's weird is the sheer scale if your not used to tall buildings and just how big the holes in the ground are

Must've been the shortest deliberation for a long time, such was the ridiculousness of his ever changing defence. A prosecutors dream suspect!!

We will never know what horrors the poor girl suffered. Dreadful for her, and appalling for her friends and family.

Agreed, a remarkable memorial and fitting tribute (my wife and I visited before Christmas). The personal items, notes, recorded voicemails, photos and accompanying stories, alongside all the information as to how that fateful day played out was very sobering indeed. We spent about six hours in the memorial, far longer than we anticipated but it was well worth the visit.

As you mention, the sheer scale is difficult to comprehend without standing at the site.

I agree. I'm really trying hard not to speculate, as it makes me feel queasy.

I only hope that the traditionally more liberal Scandinavian laws do not ever allow this man out of prison.
