Why not just say who you're calling a ?
It's fairly obvious; but by leaving some essential "plausible deniability" he may evade the ban hammer.
So my point stands, say/write what you actually think, don't moan about what might happen have the courage of your conviction

I would say the place where speech is 'most' free is the Houses of Parliament, providing you are an MP. You can say an awful lot in there that would get you strung up, legally, elsewhere.

Freedom of speech is not absolute.
Freedom is indivisible; if there are any limits on speech it is no longer free; you may agree with such limitations, that's fine, but it also means that, by definition, speech is not free,
Speech is not free and in fact can be fairly costly depending upon what was said and who heard.
Glad you acknowledge it.

It was actually a joke based on a thing someone I knew did - when asked by his boss to say what he thought he came out with 'I think you're a '

Funnily enough I thought if I came out with that as a bald statement someone might get the wrong idea.

Perhaps he doesn't want to be banned? The mods have already demonstrated their, shall we say "hair trigger" tendencies, why should he risk their ire for the small pleasure of insulting a total non-entity?

In the current news the resignation of Sarah Champion, an excellent MP, wasn't a resignation. It was a constructive dismissal because of, in her words, '...the offence caused by the extremely poor choice of words..' (in my view they were extremely accurate words and long overdue). The great leader Corbyn demanded her resignation because he feared the party might lose thousands of votes in her Labour constituency. So PC culture is in fact political expediency which from an alleged democrat is disgusting. But you won't hear that on our national favourite TV channel.

You would have thought that after being elected in 2012 and waiting until 2017 to speak out that she would have had enough time to get the words correct.

So why bother posting on a thread such as this, hes either bothered or he isn't, if he is bothered, post what he thinks he can't say to prove it, if he isn't bothered, well, why post about it?

You're starting to turn into Donald Rumsfeld.

This is hard work.

You make a joke (of sorts) that no one gets, you explain it, no-one notices.

Just post your views, society and private businesses such as Haymarket will decide whether its appropriate

The problem is often you get some humourless sort kicking off about what they think was said not what was actually said.

Then you end up with a reaction to get a quiet life regardless of whether the original statement was 'appropriate' or not.

I think more often than not what annoys people is the way a small but noisy mob controls what is 'acceptable' rather than the more general right of a company to decide what appears on its platform. Note: This isn't a statement about PH, but a wider thing as it affects press & social media platforms too.

The law (which is Our law under which we agree to be governed by) is not perfect, and can be modified.

She got the words spot on in her article, unfortunately for her the frenzy on Twitter and Facebook whipped it up that she was just being racist. This was not in line with Labour dictate that you must never say anything against any minority group, even if the evidence seems true.
