Why not just say who you're calling a ?(Now just work out who that's intended for...)
I would say the place where speech is 'most' free is the Houses of Parliament, providing you are an MP. You can say an awful lot in there that would get you strung up, legally, elsewhere.
Speech is not free and in fact can be fairly costly depending upon what was said and who heard.Glad you acknowledge it.

Freedom of speech is not absolute.
Freedom is indivisible; if there are any limits on speech it is no longer free; you may agree with such limitations, that's fine, but it also means that, by definition, speech is not free, chrispmartha said:

In the current news the resignation of Sarah Champion, an excellent MP, wasn't a resignation. It was a constructive dismissal because of, in her words, '...the offence caused by the extremely poor choice of words..' (in my view they were extremely accurate words and long overdue). The great leader Corbyn demanded her resignation because he feared the party might lose thousands of votes in her Labour constituency. So PC culture is in fact political expediency which from an alleged democrat is disgusting. But you won't hear that on our national favourite TV channel.
You would have thought that after being elected in 2012 and waiting until 2017 to speak out that she would have had enough time to get the words correct.Edited by Thorodin on Thursday 17th August 20:07

So why bother posting on a thread such as this, hes either bothered or he isn't, if he is bothered, post what he thinks he can't say to prove it, if he isn't bothered, well, why post about it?
You're starting to turn into Donald Rumsfeld. The problem is often you get some humourless sort kicking off about what they think was said not what was actually said.
Then you end up with a reaction to get a quiet life regardless of whether the original statement was 'appropriate' or not.
I think more often than not what annoys people is the way a small but noisy mob controls what is 'acceptable' rather than the more general right of a company to decide what appears on its platform. Note: This isn't a statement about PH, but a wider thing as it affects press & social media platforms too.
