Even if not close to true, these little quips must make Trump turn a shade of purple laugh

Considering he is so brown if Donald turns purple only Mclaren Special Operations team will be able to try and replicate it for some twunt with more money than cones/rods for their next car.

It will then be shown at Pebble Beach / Margate promenade.

The VP Pence
Who is a barking mad young earth creationist. Be careful what you wish for,
Yes, Pence is and has always been the Reps doomsday weapon against impeachment IMO.

However, and this really is thinking out loud ...

What if (because all the best nutjob ideas start that way) the Feds actually produce evidence of a Russian link that influenced the election which is sufficient to impeach Trump? If that's the narrative - that Trump stole the election - how can the VP who ran on the same election-stealing ticket as Trump step up and take the number 1 spot?

All hail President Ryan!

(ETA; for the avoidance of doubt I very much doubt this charge will emerge from any FBI investigation. If something turns up, I think it will be that Trump is balls deep in debt to Russian state-controlled banks).

Alt right rally in Boston went well then hehe

Looks like most don’t have the guts to show up when they can’t openly walk around carrying assault rifles.

Oh plus they were outnumbered 1000:1

Looks like trump sees the walls closing in too....

Whilst I completely agree with you, if anyone else was in power the media would be relating any positive news directly to their new leader.
You are joking - right?

You REALLY think that the media has it in for Trump alone but would only praise some other President?

I haven't really noticed the media being wholly reverential to that many previous Presidents, I have to say - and I've lived through 12 of them.
Well that depends on what news/media you watch, I spent 2 weeks in LA in June of the this year, as I was "working" I spent an awful lot of time watching the news, MSNBC are going bat st crazy after him it's like a witch hunt, Rachel Maddow's output as an example.

I've been travelling regularly to the US for years and I've never seen anything like it...so yes some major media outlets are trying to hammer him but that is no secret and has been widely reported, in fact I'm amazed you could claim not to have noticed this?

Also the UK media had a love in with Obama, when he did and said very little that was positive towards the UK, but then again neither do they so I guess they were aligned on that score.

I spend 8 months of the year in the USA. When I arrived here in 2002 I actually really did suspect when I first saw it that Fox News might be a ‘spoof’ channel, so obvious was the lack of neutrality. That has not changed since then, I find myself having to view through my fingers as they continue to defend Trump, however impossible this task may seem. Sean Hannity, in particular, seems an almost impossibly spineless fellow, seemingly totally devoid of a conscience. Much like Trump, actually.

CNN at least attempt on a regular basis to get some opposing views from around the table, although I suspect the presenters themselves are Dems. Is this not a bit like nearly all scientists being atheists though?

I am still a bit baffled by US politics even after so many years. The Republicans seem to be a party of young earth creationists and anti stem cell research, for example, which to me makes them pretty much unelectable from the start, but the frankly frightening fact is that nearly half of the population here believe the earth to be 6000-10,000 years old.

Agreed Fox is mental but MSNBC are chasing their title, it's gone polar over there.

Yep, 'polar' is a great word to describe it. I am genuinely horrified and sorry to see the way people are talking to each other in the comments sections of news articles and Facebook. They are all Americans, it's awful and I really hope however this Trump disaster ends that whatever comes next might start to heal a few rifts.

Polar, good word. The president sets the tone. He is the father of the nation. This one isn't remotely up to sniff & the results are Fox, CNN, marching Nazis & a dead girl in Virginia.

I'm of the view that Bannon has left to do his and Trump's work outside of the restraining influence of Kelly et al. He, and Trump, are not done yet by a long chalk.
Plausible deniability or whatever the term is, tis what I thought. The B man can kick off and rant away and get a following. Don't think this is over by a long chalk. Two terms?
He's going after Kushner and other liberals in the White house that he blames for his demise. That will put him in direct conflict with the donald, who likes to protect his family. Bannon was only there so long as he was telling the donald what he wanted to hear.
