Lots of votes, as they say at the end of a contentious footy match, a win is a win.

The swing voters used to be in the middle, but now with Trump and Brexit we see votes being swung by groups on the extreme end of politics. Yes there were moderate Trump voters and moderate Leave voters, but in each case the votes were swung by groups with extreme positions.

He has been on the campaign trail since day one really. I think he could not stand it unless he matches Obama two terms. It is about beating that one person that often comes to mind in his actions. He does not have to deliver either, just get that second term and he can bluster away saying how good he was in book deals later.

I understand (reading the odd snippet here and there) small town job losses are still happening, mines are still closing, jobs still going abroad. I expect they may not be as wanton with the X this time, so maybe the President is looking for more places he can garner votes from.

Larry Flynn offering 10 million for dirt on trump that will impeach him

Yes Larry Flynn who forced his own daughter to give him oral sex. Ran prostitues etc etc democrats sure have a lot of sexual predators as supporters.

https://manufacturedcontempt.wordpress.com/2007/06...
The republicans have a sexual predator as a president.
It's pretty amazing that Trump gets support from evangelicals here, knowing full well he is a sexual predator. I suspect many of them must feel quite conflicted deep down?
I caught a story and imedialty noticed the hypocrisy, the story was relevant to the thread so I posted it because I remembered his daughter speaking out after the film about him.

That makes me evangelical and conflicted? Yet again rather than talk about the issue I posted you would rather attack somebody for no reason and read into some sort mental gymnastics that suits your agenda.

Even Eric just said not the sort of help you need which is absolutely fair comment and basically what I saw when I read the first story.

Same old people constantly accusing others of what they do themselves overlooking democrat perverts to talk about trump. I'm on no side here, but you guys overlooking things like this and using it to attack trump again shows your bias.

If Eric can see that this guy is not the sort you want helping and leave at that

It does tie in nicely to Weinstein though, for a while Hollywood made Flynt a celebrity when he is a disgusting piece of filth.

Remind me how many 10s of millions Fox paid off Bill O'Reilly's victims with? How many sexual harassment accusers did Ailes have again?

What makes you think 968 was referring to or attacking you?

Just because a person shares a common distaste for someone else does not mean you have to like that person. The old adage of "my enemy's enemy is my friend" does not always hold true.

The republicans just vote them into office
Natasha Stoynoff has six independent witnesses to back up her allegation that Trump “pushed her against a wall, shoved his tongue in her mouth, and told her they were going to have an affair.”

The donald spent $1m on lawyers over the last 3 months

So now you know why he has those fundraising rallys, it's not about the second term at all.

Pesty, I was making no reference to you whatsoever. I was referring to evangelicals here in the states and wondering if they have an inner conflict with regard to having elected a known sexual predator.

As to Larry Flynt, he seems a sickening character. If his attempt to get Trump impeached has some success though, well, at least he will have done some good in his life.

Trump calls a press conference to tell them that he's doing a great job, the greatest, the best president ever. “I’m not going to blame myself, I’ll be honest"
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/16/trump-pre...

CNN is likely sitting on mounting evidence of Trump/Russia collusion but has yet to report on it, likely at the request of those working with Robert Mueller on the investigation.

Trump has also gone bigly on "Judeo-Christian values". That'll be this then -

(The link is to some uber cheesy GQ nonsense featuring Melania Knauss, as she then was, rolling around in bling on Trump's tacky jet.)

Now the orange buffoon has said he's the only Prez that actually calls relatives of fallen military families.......Obama never did, (or at least not often but that's what he has been told).

Every day its asked, can he go lower. Guess not.

He made the comment and, on being challenged, half retracted it. As ever, he blamed someone else by stating "That's what he was told".

He's a dribbling loon.

What surprises me about the case of 4 marines killed is that he has two former soldiers on his immediate staff, you think they'd suggest making a public statement immediately, calling/writing to next of kin, dignified show of attending return of bodies etc especially as it plays to his base and off the back of his 'campaign' for the flag / against the NFL. But no, manages 7 rounds of golf (apparently) then does a press conference, says letters aren't in the post yet but falsely and maliciously claims other presidents didn't do the stuff he hasn't.

And there's the "hang the gays" line he casually tossed out about Pence.
