He may have "kicked" Bannon out but Trump is still the Alt-Right's only hope for influencing Govt policy. And the Alt-Right are Trump's best /only hope of staying in power. Without their unconditional adulation there would be nothing for Trump's ego to feed off and sustain itself. So it's a parasite/host relationship. Both need each other.

It wasn't even a nazi/white supremacy rally. Counter protesters are literally there as anti free speech.
