just listen to the legal "expert" being totally humiliated. How in God's name did Trump or anyone on his team think that this guy was suitable?
because Trump needs to load the judicery with people who will do what he says. He's lost legal challenges Bigly this year, plus knows these nominations stay in for years. Might be handy to someone possibly facing several upcoming legal challenges to have people on his side...

It's a pointless exercise if they know f-all about the law. They will be torn to shreds by any competent constitutional lawyers.

Considering everyone (including the big man himself) are pretty much inept in Trumps life I would assume his companies are pretty much the same in terms of management at the ‘top’. Can you imagine how much power actually gets filtered down to his corporate lawyers?! They must literally run the place. Their fees for doing so must be insane.

Trumps lawyers are telling him the russian investigation will be over by Christmas, new year at the latest. Mueller has said it could take all next year.
So are they also just telling him what he wants to hear, taking the money whilst keeping him happy?

They're just trying to keep him quiet and off Twitter. It's like a 3 year old on a long car journey. You distract them or reassure them that they're almost there and if they go to sleep we'll be at the seaside when they wake up.

This alone should disbar him from any position of authority. Irresponsible doesn't even begin to cover it.

All this complaining of obtaining Team Trump emails, yet Environmental Protection Agency employees have discovered their emails are being requests were submitted for anything mentioning either Mr. Pruitt or President Trump, or any communication with Democrats in Congress that might have been critical of the agency.

The requests came from a Virginia-based lawyer working with America Rising, a Republican campaign research group that specializes in helping party candidates and conservative groups find damaging information on political rivals, and which, in this case, was looking for information that could undermine employees who had criticized the E.P.A.

Excellent interview here between Cuomo and Kennedy on CNN, mainly relating to the interrogation of Kennedy mentioned above. Senator Kennedy seems like a really decent bloke.

I was reading that the other day when I read about the national park manager getting called in for a telling off. It is amusing but then it is also scary. Want to keep your job? Don't say what you think.

OK, on company email perhaps, same rules here but it will scare people off in their own time so to speak.

He's like a little kid, ignore it, don't mention it and it doesn't exist.

Lol is the development of an idiocracy. You should read what they’re doing in the science sector.
"People are fed up with experts", apparently - so they appoint people with no knowledge or experience other than that their ill-informed views correspond to those of Trump and his witless base.

Idiocracy pretty much sums it up.
It's a worrying trend because this is the same idiotic logic and people we are governed by. Let's not forget Gove's nauseating interview of Trump after his election, and Farage et al desperately trying to offer their holes to him.
Gove, Johnson, Farage and a small group of other self-serving opportunists should never, ever be let near the levers of power again.

All are utterly nauseating, and represent the very worst of politcal power grasping in this country.

The love affair Farage and Gove have with Trump is particularly vomit worthy.

Thing is, I don't expect the Donald to know a thing about it (part from his loon friends say), it was done because Obama did it.

Surprised he has not tweeted about the recently released UFO files, his mate, Mr Stone, must love that stuff.
