One day a Finnish nutter just wandered round the streets randomly stabbing people. It's not just Muslims that have lunatic knifemen.

Seems like a tight lid being kept on this, no info around on the who or why. And press coverage is minimal too.

So it was either just a local nut or there is local interest in minimising the whole affair as far as possible.

Seems more of a nutter woth a grudge (whether Muslim or not) than a coordinated and planned terrorist attack. I guess that might explain lack of coverage maybe? There is some coverage but it's not headline news.

Reuters reporting the local police as saying they're not treating this as a terrorist attack at present - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-finland-stabbin... .

Local media reports it was a woman pushing a baby in a stroller who was attacked, not the actual baby. There's also some doubt about the Allahu Akbar claims - apparently the Finnish for 'watch out'/beware sounds very similar.

None of this is happening according to my friend of many, many years. His lodger has convinced him that these events are fake and performed by actors. It annoys me no end and I told him that he and his lodger are bellends.
I get quite flustered about it.

Latest is that it was an 18 year old Moroccan man, and apparently being investigated as terrorism.

Those that died were Finns, also 1 Italian and 2 Swedes injured.

Picture of the guy in the ambulance suggests that if they didn't shoot him in the bks they were very close.

Who knows? I'm going to have to have a serious word with him. I wonder if it is the weed he has started to smoke lately. He got divorced and is going out with a lady that enjoys a smoke, so he partakes. The guy didn't even smoke normal cigarettes. I think there is a mental problem arising.
