Been lurking around for some time looking at the ad' section every day and after selling my TVR I have bought a V8 Vantage. The sale of the TVR was a difficult decision for me as it was a very special car (573hp/610lb) but I have now realised a dream.
It's a late 09 4.7 with a top specification in Tempest Blue (sort of a metallic slate) and black interior with only 6,800 miles from new with the 'Timeless' warranty. It looks and feels like a brand new car! To say I'm pleased is an understatement bounce
I just have to give a special mention to 'Charles Hurst' Aston Martin in Belfast and in particular Harry Tregenna who looked after us from the pick up at the airport to the delivery of the car to me in UK. The service has been excellent and made the whole buying process an enjoyable experience. Harry even kept me updated when he was at home after the birth of his son!
Top Marks for Charles Hurst and thank you Harry beer

I just love the original Vantage shape before sill dressings/extensions. So clean and compact

Your patience has paid off, Mac.
Looks as though you have bought a beauty.
A very pretty and probably rare colour.
I share your love of the early 4.7, with original body.
Notice the changed rear lights, but they look great.
Enjoy.

Well done, sounds like you picked up a peach! Some of these cars really don't get out much do they. Enjoy the dry roads for the next little while wink

Chilli, seems I wont be able to make it unless I come in my van, as all roads are not as smooth as we hope for. I'll be in touch and update scratchchin

Some dream this turned out to be, there was me thinking I've no worries dealing with 'Aston Martin'. How wrong was I? You couldn't make this up, may start another thread. I've other thoughts on original post.
