Tuscan racer front end
Discussion
Damian S3 has grafted the Tuscan Racer bonnet slats into the bonnet of his Jag V6 powered S.
And I believe a certain S-Clubber darn sarf has plans to graft a Tuscan Racer bonnet he has aquired on to one of his S's. I cannot reveal his identity because it's a very hush-hush project.that may or may not come to fruition.
Don't know if anybody else has ever done this.? There are quite a few discrepancies to overcome.

Fair warning they let rain in overnight which soaks the rad.. then half half way to work it gasses off not too much but I thought I had a an issue the first time it happened, once it's all dry no problems even if it's still raining and you can only see it when not moving like at traffic lights.
All other times they are great imho and it really cools things down. I have blocked my upper and half of lower front vents by the number plate to improve aero and reduce flow under the clamshell.
Also more to your point I could be wrong but surface and design may have mounds to make some or racecar77 (perry?) also has moulds and may be willing to make you a set? I did this initially but they were a bit rough and would have needed some hours to make good. With luck a bonnet turned up on the bay cheep so chopped those out instead.
Did you ask about my ducktail? It's from a 200zx again off the bay.
Thanks
Damian S3

I did my own thing with the front, at the moment I need to lift the scoop about 25mm to clear the inlet manifold, making a new mould so should be on in the next week or so. Had to make larger arches as the wheels were 30mm outside the old ones both front and back. bonnet now 28 kgs. I know this will not be approved by all.

...... as the next owner is not sure if it looks right.......
You mean you aren't going to drive it after all that work?Alan Whitaker said:
...... also the side mirrors, (my daughter) so that may go at the painters
Finding alternative mirrors is difficult. Many modern ones are too big and don't seem to work with the lines of the door (IMHO). I saw these at Spa this year...1978 Corvette. There's one HERE Although one won't be much use to you

Going to drive the tits off it and when I go to the TVR land in the sky she gets it
That's more like it Not sure about the Ferrari mirrors though. What about Corsa mirrors?
Quite like the Typhon mirror...
I looked at lots of modern mirrors and came to the conclusion that TVR got it right with the Citroen mirror on the 'S'. Just IMHO of course
