Received email stating a price rise above inflation which (I think) allows me to break my contract without penalty within 30 days (been with them 4 months). Has anyone left virgin due to an above inflation price rise and come back to them as a new customer to get a lower price (£12 a month difference)? When I asked about doing this, customer service just hung up on me lol.

They hung up on you? That's extremely unprofessional of them. When I called to moan about it last time, they offered to reduce it for me anyway.
