Video (from a nearby concert, gunshots heard in the distance)

Pretty terrifying to hear, hope all safe

Looks terrible. I guess the death toll has a high possibility of rising judging by the videos.

Presumably this thread will take off once a couple of facts are established so the usual suspects know what position to take.

Well ive already drawn my conclusions so here we go.

The people who did it were s, they acted in a c@&ntish manner on behalf of a bunch of greater s.

Ive said it before and i will keep repeating there are only two types of people in this world.

1 people youd be okay having a drink with.

2 s.

Any other description of people is just fluff to meet an agenda.

Don't know why this is even worthy of news in the UK. How many others will die today in the US from the barrel of a gun?

Meanwhile Sky News considers this more newsworthy to us Brits than 110,000 fellow Brits (friends, family etc) who are stranded abroad. It's their top storey.

What a moronic comment. Idiot (with whatever higher agenda/motive) opens fire on a crowd of people in a place many of your aforementioned Brits frequent, possible injuring/killing many, is an ongoing situation and you think people stuck in Benidorm for a bit after paying tuppence for their flights is more newsworthy?

I despair.

Yes I do. Old aged relatives not knowing how they'll get home is FAR more important to me and others than some EVERYDAY occurence in the US.

Total BS. A firing on a crowd with an automatic weapon is not a daily occurrence (even if it was, it's still 'news worthy'). Has it entered your mind that people in the UK may have relatives, friends or loved ones living there, or visiting?

But my points are obvious, as is your 'troll' moniker.

Confirmed 2 dead, if that stays even remotely accurate then I'd be amazed based on what I've seen so far this morning.

1 - as far as I am aware the CAA has arranged repatriation flights for all Monarch customers, with no need to curtail holidays etc
2 - significant numbers of British people go on holiday to Las Vegas each year

If I had aged relatives stuck abroad I wouldn't be relying on updates on a web site to find out what was happening to them.

"Hello mum and dad, sorry you were stuck for a week, I tried my hardest to find out what the score was but those buggers at the BBC only update their web page every so often"

Exactly, a number of people will arrive back a few days late to Luton airport parking. The horror.
