Don't know why this is even worthy of news in the UK. How many others will die today in the US from the barrel of a gun?

Meanwhile Sky News considers this more newsworthy to us Brits than 110,000 fellow Brits (friends, family etc) who are stranded abroad. It's their top storey.
WTF its called empathy you fkwit comparing a delay in getting home to not getting home ever again there must be something wrong with you.
The news on CNN you can here the gun shots and its just a nightmare scenario for the poor souls out just enjoying an evening out.
At least 20 dead and more than 100 injured WTF is going on with the World.

Yep - same here now. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2017/oct/...

Local sheriff named the companion of the shooter as 'Marylou Danley'
Also calling her "Asian".

Seems comments on the video have tracked down her partner as Geary Danley.... An anti Trump old white man.

CNN have footage of the event it really is quite frightening. I couldn't even begin to say how many rounds were fired but it must be hundreds all in close proximity to the audience .The death toll is bound to rise significantly.

I understand you might be concerned for your relatives but it has been widely reported already that the CAA have said they will get people home, hopefully with minimal delays - maybe a day or two with any luck, so there really is no particular cause for concern is there?

On the flip-side, it seems that at least 20 people that went to a concert last night will never have the luxury of getting home, unlike your relatives.

It really doesn’t matter where in the world this took place.

I think it is you that needs to re-evaluate your priorities.

She's like half Filipino or something lol.

Also. Hell of a way to get outed as a pro potentially.

What a vile and moronic thing to say.

Why the term 'Asian' needs wiping out of media.

OK with just 2 people dead at the time it was just another day stateside and my argument stood.

With 20+ dead clearly its different.

As is that arguably. I can fully understand GM could be really feeling a huge chunk of stress over the Monarch thing whilst equally appreciating this isn't the best place or the best way to express it. So maybe call off the dogs & move on eh?

Just watched some footage from the concert it sounded like one of those 100shot fireworks going off. It's hard to believe that was automatic gun fire into the crowd and that people can actually buy such weapons. I fear it will be a lot more than 20 dead. Any idea to motive yet? Just a nutter wanting to go down in history?

Alleged shooter likes a an awful lot of anti Trump pages on Facebook.

Shoots into a country music festival which would stereotypically be Republican supporters.

Just seen this. The thing with it being at a concert, and the shooter so high up is people took a minute to realise what was even going on, and then not knowing where to run. Really sad to see.
