Dates: 18th - 26th Nov

I know many will say it's pricey or not worth going but for me it's a chance to look at lots of bikes and maybe buy something a bit cheaper. I have over the years got a bargain or 2. But not always cheap I agree.

I'm going with about 4 mates and meeting up with a few more at the show on the 23rd Nov Thurs.

Anyone going

I normally try and tie in work up that way and pop in.
I'll try and get up there on one of the first couple of midweek days when it tends to be a bit quieter, and the people working on the stands are still enthusiastic and don't look like they've given up the will to live like they do on the later days

Nearly twenty quid to get in? They're having a laugh.

Intending to go up, but haven't planned anything yet. Annoyingly few free weekdays around that time, so probably going to have to do the weekend instead :/

Will my 4th or 5th year. I don't even have a licence yet.

It's a nice day out for £20.

I'm new to this biking lark so I'll be going along for a nose around. I'm particularly interested in the Helite airbag vests and I need a disc lock so I'll be seeing if there are any deals about.

Does it make a difference if you ride or drive? Does driving make it a pain to park?

or cheaper if you pay before about £12

Like me if your going with 3-4 others it's even cheaper and easier to take things home if you buy anything

Not quite sure why people get on such a downer regards the show, we just view it as a boys day out to have a laugh, share some banter and pick up the odd (and yes they do exist) bargain .... its not expensive really, no more so than a mornings fuel and a breakfast on a sunday ride out ......

I simply commented 'nah'. Not a downer just one of two choices that form the answer to the question posed by the bike show fanboy

and why i posted what i did in my opening post.

If you don't want to go, dont find it worthwhile that's fine, but i've always found it to be a good day out smile

again not aimed at anyone in this post but like above I also remember starting this post for the 2016 and had so many negative posts again why i posted what i did in my first post.

I've always been on the school if I have nothing positive to say it's not worth my time posting smile

I think I'll go. I went in '15 as it was my first year back on the road bike scene but I missed last year

As weather gets a bit pants it's good to go if a few are going
