I imagine at some point in the 23 years he will know what it feels like to have unwanted sexual advances.

Consecutive sentences, good to see.

I thought he was going to get lots of moderate sentences, but these all to be served concurrently.

What's the US policy on early release? Does he get released on licence at half tariff like in the UK, or will he do every day of those 23yrs?

Depends if it is a state penitentiary or a federal prison. If federal, there is no parole. Don’t know if his crimes were federal.

Wow. No sympathy though. If he was being sentenced even a decade ago it would be a lot less no doubt.

Good.

It’s sending quite a message, which I read as:

Don’t use your power, money and influence to spend decades sexually harassing women.
Quite. Excellent result, and a lengthy sentence to emphasise the point.

He'll probably do a minimum of 20 no matter what. I'd imagine he'll be sent to a federal penitentiary as the crimes he committed were federal crimes, in which case he'll serve every single second of those 23 years.

Not ruling out doing 'an Epstein' - by that meaning dying in his cell, not being killed, of course..

Yep, deserves every second of that sentence.

Something tells me the Aryan Brotherhood won’t be very welcoming to a Jewish person.

There was no physical evidence and it was just who the jury believed more.

So yes, it seems high to me.
How on earth that some cases couldn’t be proved/he didn’t do, justify a lower sentence for the ones he was found guilty of.

Hope this sends a strong message out to others. This won’t be an isolated case.

What on earth does that actually mean?
Is that like if he was found guilty of less than 50% of his charges he should be exonerated?
Jesus Christ.

I think some people, for some reason, seem to like defending perves. Bizarre, but there you are.

I do wonder this every time someone wealthy turns up to court.

If it was looking like you were bang to rights, potential lengthy sentence, and you had $50-100 Million in the bank, why on earth wouldn’t you just disappear in a musical instrument case like the boss of Nissan?

You could have quite the life in some pleasantly warm non-extradition countries with that kind of cash.
