Consecutive sentences, good to see.
I thought he was going to get lots of moderate sentences, but these all to be served concurrently.
What's the US policy on early release? Does he get released on licence at half tariff like in the UK, or will he do every day of those 23yrs?
Depends if it is a state penitentiary or a federal prison. If federal, there is no parole. Don’t know if his crimes were federal. I thought he was going to get lots of moderate sentences, but these all to be served concurrently.

He'll probably do a minimum of 20 no matter what. I'd imagine he'll be sent to a federal penitentiary as the crimes he committed were federal crimes, in which case he'll serve every single second of those 23 years. Not ruling out doing 'an Epstein' - by that meaning dying in his cell, not being killed, of course..aaron_2000 said:

I imagine at some point in the 23 years he will know what it feels like to have unwanted sexual advances.

He was found not guilty of more charges than he was found guilty of.
There was no physical evidence and it was just who the jury believed more.
So yes, it seems high to me.
How on earth that some cases couldn’t be proved/he didn’t do, justify a lower sentence for the ones he was found guilty of. There was no physical evidence and it was just who the jury believed more.
So yes, it seems high to me.
Hope this sends a strong message out to others. This won’t be an isolated case.

With all his money why didn’t he go to Mexico or something
I do wonder this every time someone wealthy turns up to court. If it was looking like you were bang to rights, potential lengthy sentence, and you had $50-100 Million in the bank, why on earth wouldn’t you just disappear in a musical instrument case like the boss of Nissan?
You could have quite the life in some pleasantly warm non-extradition countries with that kind of cash.
