When you go to your bookmarks or participated tabs just wait a few seconds - you may find after that they appearKnown issue?
If you get to 60 secs then clearly safari has a problem - try firefox

I wanted to use my bookmarks just, and the format has changed (they used to be at the top?), found them at the bottom of the page but there are none.

Bookmarks can be found by going in thro "my stuff"
If you have a lot of bookmarks you may just have to give it a few second to actually load up before the "none" is replaced with whatever bookmarks you have

I see same delay on all my devices
PC - Windows 8.1 and Firefox
Laptop - Windows 7 and Firefox
Ipad - ios 9.3 and Firefox for IOS
Iphone - ios 10.1 and Firefox for ios
I don’t use chrome, IE, safari but I’m sure others do

THat's how I remember it!
...as I was tying to post, I had to fiddle with scripts to allow the pic upload. Firefox has updated and noscript has stopped working, so I installed umatrix, and that will change tabs like bookmarks, basically gets rid.
Trying to use thumsnap I then had to scroll trough umatrix, and voilà! My page is now back as it was, still without the ads.
edit so basically it's fixed!
