I read this morning that Boris has, at long last, admitted that the message on the infamous bus was, in fact, an error hehe
Careful now, you know how upset people on this forum get when anyone mentions the big red bus wink
He said the number was underestimated and the figure should be much higher wink

Farage's comments have really energised the remoaners and vastly increased the possibility of a Brexit U-turn. I can't think what motivated him to say it, surely he knew the impact it would have.
He knew exactly the impact it would have.

Now that his new career with Trump seems to have fizzled out, once we're out of the EU, the rest of his job does as well.

It's in his interests to at least delay the process.

Does that mean Leavers will stop getting offended when the bus is mentioned now?

Will the same people who have been telling us that "everyone knew the figure was too high and the NHS would never see a penny" suddenly disappear?

Personally, I think Farage mentioned the idea of a second referendum as a distraction from the news story about his little dispute with the EU about his salary being docked.

No, I think Leavers are aware that Boris is a savvy journalist and he and the Guardian got together for the major new Guardian re-launch yesterday, seeing it as a way to promote both of themselves, and the bus was an easy click bait.

And ofcourse it has worked - It is the Guardian you see, full of thick students remoaners on media study courses, unlike the highly educated and tax paying Telegraph Brexit audience hehe

Brexiteers: We don't really care about blue passports or Brexit stamps, that's just a REMAIN ploy to make us look silly.

Also Brexiteers: WE DEMAND STAMPS! WE'RE GOING BACK TO THE 70S AND PEOPLE WILL BE PATRIOTIC AND WRITE LETTERS AGAIN!

Sticking to the ball rather than the man, it does seem a little bit of a strange thing to ask for IMO.

I get it, it's just a tweet, but it does sort of smack of "We've no clue about anything to do with how brexit will impact the economy or job... oh look Brexit stamps it's all OK now" smile

I think Bozza was alarmed at reports in the Sun that Brexit is a nailed on catastrobks & therefore to correct that error, sought to clarify that the payola is in fact £430m/week.

I for one am grateful for the clarification that amounts increase in real terms when the pound is devalued by all this taking back control, from overlord Johnson of Fibrovia, a man sacked twice for lying, who may in fact be lying again about another lie.

I thought it might be a troll at first, too. Sadly it's Andrea Leadsom's real Twitter account frown

Little from column A, little from column B.

Anna Soubry on the Daily Politics today, turns out she sneaked off to Brussels yesterday with Chucky and others to undermine the government, I mean have a positive discussion with Monsieur Barnier, with regard to Brexit.

Did she have permission to go? She should keep her trap shut, traitor.

I won't have it said that Brexiteers are thick, illiterate or prone to hackneyed emotive outbursts rooted in swivel eyed wkery.

She represents a Leave constituency. Shameful, hope they kick her out at the earliest opportunity.

Her constituency voted to leave (55% vs 45%) and she only has a majority of a few hundred. Wouldn't be surprised if she's booted out at the next GE. Not that she will be bothered - she'll have lots of cushy non-executive directorships lined up once her career in parliament is over.

The referendum was a free vote for all & nothing whatsoever to do with party policy, whipping or anything other than individual conscience. The sheer number of times this has to be repeated is just another nail in the coffin of the idea that leavers are well educated, balanced individuals engaged in honest debate.

To be honest, anyone who lumps so many people (millions) into the same box as you do truly is the only very thick one in this debate.

Itchy trigger finger leaver is triggered again. And I take it, your dislike of unreasonable generalisations means you'll be posting a similarly even handed admonishment to Cobnapint for tarring a democratically elected Member of Parliament with the soubriquet of Traitor (see what I did there?)
