Ferrari is 22nd Feb so I would imagine most other teams will be around then too.

First test isn't until 26th March

Mclaren have lost 8 sponsors in a disastrous off season, and are down to 3. The colour of the car should be the least of their concerns

The Honda partnership destroyed their image. Yellow paint wont fix that.

And it is a starting point to re-brand and distance themselves from the past few, absolutely disastrous years, I doubt very much McLaren believe things will change with just a new colour.

It's in the Daily Star, so it must be true.

Really, who've they lost? There was an interview with Zak Brown a couple of days ago where he said they had three new sponsors signed but not yet announced.

Santander, CNN, Johnnie Walker, Calsonic, Star Sports Network, Castrol, Michael Kors and (which seems a bit harsh) Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Maybe a secondary reason for the choice of yellow is for the new Renault partnership? It'll probably end up looking a lot like the Renault car itself.

I saw a teaser video that eluded to the red and white cars of the past;

Is it not orange and white? I am sure I read somewhere the red is actually orange but looks red. If that makes any sense.

I would love to see McLaren revert back to orange red/white.

Autosport

McLaren has announced that its new Renault powered MCL33 will be unveiled on February 23, the week before Formula 1's 2018 pre-season testing begins.

The team has big ambitions for the year ahead following its change of engine supplier from Honda, having overcome some packaging headaches to fit the Renault unit in its chassis.

The car will be presented the day after Ferrari unveils its 2018 design.

Mercedes announces launch for same day as Ferrari

McLaren is thought likely to launch its new car in Spain ahead of the following week's tests, rather than at its British base.

Toro Rosso, which has taken the Honda supply that McLaren did not want, will launch its own car on the evening before the first test.

An event is scheduled for the evening of February 25.

The first Barcelona pre-season test begins on February 26, and it is possible a number of teams will choose to simply unveil their cars shortly before running starts that morning.

Just seen their video teaser for their launch. Right at the end they have a screen grab of their sponsors which include: Chandon, NTT Communications, Richard Mille, Kimoa, Hilton, Logitech, Renault, Norton Rose Fulbright, Airgain, Pirelli, SAP, CNBC, Stratasys, Akebono, Enkei, Mazak, Kenwood, Technogym, Volvo, Sparco, Sikkens, Lat_56, and Calsonic

Admittedly, i don't know how many of them are main sponsors (more technical partners) and I haven't heard of half of them, but it looks like a pretty respectable group?

Most of those are long-term deals McLaren have had for ages.

Of the newer ones:
CNBC - was previously a sauber sponsor, now McLaren.
Kimoa (surfwear/sunglasses etc) - new for 2018. Kimoa is owned by Fernando Alonso...
Airgain (wireless tech) - new for 2018.
