She's got all the right cards to play, gender, race and even is a bit of a fatty too. That's my tip for inclusion and increasing your diverstity ratios this year, Fatties.
She's a shoe in.
Genuinely cannot understand people who'll vote for a candidate specifically because of their sex/race/etc. I'm so tired of identity politics. She's a shoe in.

If she did run it's pretty obvious how she would buy the vote...
"You're getting a car!.... you're getting a car!.... you're getting a car!"
As opposed to...you get a tax cut... you get a tax cut... you get a tax cut (if you're already rich!)"You're getting a car!.... you're getting a car!.... you're getting a car!"

I wonder if in a few years the presidency will be decided in a game show?
Perhaps a Battle Royale style contest would be betterI Like Oprah, she has done well for herself and does come across as a caring person, but that doesn't make a good president.
Life isn't Disney, life isn't a show where giving everyone a car or redecorating someone's house will make everything better. No life has ups and downs and hard decision need to be made. I'm not saying she, herself, has had terrible times and made tough decisions but the end product now, could she give permission for a team of Marines to go in, on a mission, knowing that 50% may die ? Could she press `the button` if needs be ?
I like Trump, he comes with his own unique qualities, and yes he does say stupid things. However I like that craziness about him. ITs that craziness that tells the other dictators / world leads that he's up for it.
Lets look at Iraq, Libra. Are these countries any better now the lead monster has been removed ? no. You need a monster to keep the other monsters in check.
Oprah isn't a monster. Also, her man Stedman.... really ? He seems to be an angel / saint ? I get tired of her telling people about what Stedman said, or feels :-)
Keep Trump in. Also, about time the UK for a Trump.
No doubtI will be ripped a new one now by the PH police but so be it !

At the bookies, Trump is currently 5/2 clear favourite to be the next US President in 2020.
Oprah is way out, at 16/1.
Right now, she has no chance.
2020 is a long, long, long time away in American politics. More so now than ever before and who knows what might happen between now and then. President Pence may even be running things then...Oprah is way out, at 16/1.

I'd take any odds offered with a huge pinch of salt at the moment.
America has a serious problem if it seems that the only viable candidates for President are talk show or reality TV show hosts. There is something very worrying if a nation cannot engage with serious and professional politicians anymore.
The media really has become the message. Sadly the message is "Vote for me. I'm a familiar face - and I know nothing about governing or how to manage an administration - but you like me because you've seen me umpteen times on telly".

Odd she only now makes this sort of speech. Surely she & her ilk were well aware of Mr Weinstein & others 'ways' years ago.
I don't really get how anybody could be that stupid to fall for it, not even the US public.
That’s what I was thinking. How many of those now ‘speaking out’ and jumping on the outrage bandwagon have been complicit over the years due to their silence and turning a blind eye.I don't really get how anybody could be that stupid to fall for it, not even the US public.
Hypocrisy of the highest order.

I agree too. With today's social media a lot can change in a 24hr period.I'd take any odds offered with a huge pinch of salt at the moment.

He’s only clear favourite because there isn’t a Dem candidate yet. If you look at the ‘next president Dem or Rep’ market at the bookies then the Democrats are favourites for 2020.Oprah is way out, at 16/1.
Right now, she has no chance.

So what does someone who absolutely doesn't intend to run say when asked?
"If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve"."I shall not seek and I will not accept the nomination of my party as your President."
