The argument has been the same way for years if you delve into it.

Immigrants only benefit certain sectors of the economy.

Namely buy to let landlords and their employer.

They dont contribute completely as UK citizens do for their whole lives unless they stay, and they have put enormous pressure on the NHS, education, housing and traffic.

They do though have their benefits, They are hard working, have a greater sense of community than us (mainly as they live 15 to a one bed flat) care about there they are from and are prepared to uproot to get a better life, well a massive chunk of money to retire on in 15 years.

Our youth would not do the same, they are over expectant, over parented and totally unwilling to compromise form their university educated expectant lifestyle they are fed through their parents and peers.

You can see why certain industries are overflowing with Poles, Lithys etc. those same industries that either didnt exist in numbers years ago like service, logistics, and also those that are now largely gone in great numbers like manufacturing and engineering.

None of the above is remotely accurate.

It just shows that people on both (ends) of the discussion can be very wrong, you are often another prime example of wrong as well remember smile

There are definitely benefits from some migration and without question some people add value to this country, financial or otherwise.
True, but maybe we are just not being selective enough.
