Hi, it looks like a few times this year im going to be working abroad for around a week at a time. Some eu and some not.

Did lanzarote in november, just got back from morocco and off yo chilie at the end of the month.

Anyone got any good tips on best places for medical / travel insurance when your away working.

Waking up at 3am hardly able to breath last week has kind of moved it up the agenda !!

Fortunetly working in an fia event i was able on that occasion to seek help from the 1st class event medical team, but if had become more serious and needed a hospital stay and repatriation it might have got even more scarey

Are you self employed? If not your employer should be providing this coverage.

It's probably not applicable to you but we are covered by Cigna.

I use an Annual Worldwide Multi-Trip Gold policy from Insure and Go, this cover trips up to 90 days

Cover for Business is a small additional cost.

Who provides your existing insurances (as a limited company you are legally obliged to have certain ones)? They may well do a travel policy you can bolt on.

I used Caunce O'Hara for a package of insurances but I'm not sure if the travel insurance is still part of the Accident & Sickness insurance. It was very comprehensive - it even paid £300 if you were kidnapped.
