Silverstone Sunday Service 04/03

Our second Sunday Service of the year sees us heading back to one of our favourite locations!

On the first March is our first Silverstone Sunday Service and track day of the year, so we'll expect it to be one of most popular events. Handily then we have 500 PHer spaces, so it's one of the largest too!

The days events will be much the same as our previous Silverstone Sunday Services - there will be six track sessions over the course of the morning, with a maximum of 30 cars on track per session, priced at just £45 a time. The sessions are split into two groups - novice and intermediate - meaning there's lots of space and lot's of fun. We're also running two PH Fleet cars on the day for those of you that would rather just stay in the passenger seat.

To book the track sessions, please call this number 01327 320409 or 01327 320267 and quote 'Piston18' or on the website here. [9:35am session is listed between 10:45 and 11:20 on the site] Please also remember to sign yourself up on our calendar if you're going out on track, as everyone attending needs to be registered.

Obviously there will also be the normal Sunday Service aspect of it, with no track time, and for that we have 500 spaces (but no limit on people, so feel free to bring passengers!). Get yourself signed up to the calendar here to secure your space. As usual, please only sign up if you're 100 per cent sure you can come, as taking up a space that you don't use is seriously frowned upon.

Food and refreshments will be available onsite from Silverstone's cafe; we'll be there for coffee and brekky bright and early.

Please note once more that if you do book track time, your name does need to be added to the Sunday Service calendar as well. If you are going on track you will be parked in the paddock but, as the areas are next to each other, you will be able to wander around looking at the cars in attendance. Also, like all on track activities, this event will be subject to stoppages and weather conditions. Fingers crossed for sunshine!

UPDATE: We're excited to announce that to start our support for Mission Motorsport, the team will be joining us at Silverstone this Sunday to raise funds towards their ongoing efforts. We're suggesting a non-compulsory donation of £2 per person upon entry. Weather permitting, the team will be providing passenger rides at £5 each in one of their specially adapted race cars and will also be collecting at various points around the event. You can sign on as a passenger for free at race control, and will need to pay your donation and collect a passenger ride ticket at the PH merchandise stall. Dig deep and show your support to what's truly an amazing charity, and one that shares our own passion for all things automotive.

See you there!

The PH Team.

In.

What are the track sessions like? Civilised? Or mental?

If you go for the Novice session they are very civilised.

Typically the 10.45 session is a good one

It was very slippery last year due to rainfall, just makes it that much more exciting and easier on the tyres and brakes biggrin

National Circuit, it's a bit mickey mouse, but you can get a good chance to get a feel for your car.
Booking mine tomorrow

Just got off the phone, track time booked! Just got to hope the car passes the MOT this week and doesn't break at Donington Park on March 2nd!

New one arrived... was fitted. Sounded bad.
Was removed and sent off for rebalancing and different seals.
Was fitted again, smoked like a MF.
Back on my old turbo which would probably be OK but don't want to risk it.

Micky mouse? It's a taster session. Ideal for the requirements of the PH SS.

Cheap, civilised and enjoyable. What's not to like?
