trump has tweeted:
"So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!"
Why then did he make it easier for such people to get guns?

But his erratic idiocy is reported worldwide, day in day out and nothing is done!

Why would it make headway? It's a carbon copy of what millions of republican / conservative voters spout on the internet. They will keep voting for it and when it doesn't work they will blame immigrants, lefties and urban elites for any adverse effects.
SECTORAL BALANCES MUST SUM TO ZERO. THE ONLY EFFECT OF REDUCING THE GOVERNMENT DEFICIT THROUGH POPULIST RIGHT WING ECONOMICS IS TO SHIFT THE DEFICIT TO THE HOUSEHOLD SECTOR MEANING THE VOTER WILL GO BUST LONG BEFORE THE GOVERNMENT RUNS A SURPLUS.
Sorry for shouting but I've lost count of the number of times I've made this point on these forums. The 'Reasons why I shouldn't vote for Theresa May' thread at the last general election was particularly instructive to me regarding the lengths people will go to in order to ignore the evidence in front of them if it doesn't fit their political beliefs.
The idea that dogmatically following a right wing economic agenda is on the same level of economic vandalism as dogmatically following a left wing agenda is anathema to anyone who doesn't look at the numbers, take time to crunch them, and then change their vote according to the specific economic circumstances of that election. How many people do you know who do this? Also, where the heck is Lisa Simpson when we need her?
I don't mind the shouting, it made me read it very carefully.. SECTORAL BALANCES MUST SUM TO ZERO. The gun debate is done IMO. Unless it's about more guns, not less.

Trump blaming the shooters mental health, but this time last year he rolled back an Obama era law that made it harder for people with mental health issues to obtain fire arms. But his erratic idiocy is reported worldwide, day in day out and nothing is done!

And the shooter was repeatedly reported to various authorities. That's why he was removed from the school. But nothing was done by the authorities. He even posted on social media that he was going to be a "professional school shooter!"
But he wasn't on any watch list and was able to buy an AR-15 without issue. God bless America!
Easier for Trump to try and blame the community though.
Did he honestly think tweeting that after repealing Obama's gun reform was not going to be picked up on???
Cretin.

I can't vouch for the veracity of this, but I was told that if he'd just sat on everything he inherited he'd be wealthier than he is today. So basically this great businessman has made himself poorer.
i'd like to see some kind of proof that he is actually a billionaire. fronting a business organisation valued over a billion doesn't cut it if the money invested isn't yours.Gameface said:

But to his supporters, it would be fake news from the "MSM" (surely the abbreviation of mainstream media is just MM? I digress...).And the shooter was repeatedly reported to various authorities. On this morning's Today programme, they played some excerpts from "Fox and Friends", apparently his favourite show (maybe he watches it during the morning session of "Executive Time" or whatever it's called). It was an eye-opener.

I wonder how many volumes this will reach over the next 7 years...?
Bloody hell, let's hope only 3! Or even better, less.So info needed for 1 term (or 2 for the faithful)
Term | Start Date | End Date | Days of Presidency |
1st Term | 20/01/2017 | 21/01/2021 | 1462 |
2nd Term | 20/01/2021 | 21/01/2025 | 1462 |
Lets look at the volumes so far and based on days taken to complete a volume after a slower initial start (First Volume covered his time as incumbant before taking office) they are averaging around 180 days per vol
Thread | Start Date | End Date | Days as President |
Vol 1 | 09/11/2016 | 16/02/2017 | 27 |
Vol 2 | 16/02/2017 | 18/08/2017 | 183 |
Vol 3 | 18/08/2017 | 14/02/2018 | 180 |
Vol 4 | 14/02/2018 | 13/08/2018 | 180 |
Vol 5 | 13/08/2018 | 09/02/2019 | 180 |
Vol 6 | 09/02/2019 | 08/08/2019 | 180 |
Vol 7 | 08/08/2019 | 04/02/2020 | 180 |
Vol 8 | 04/02/2020 | 02/08/2020 | 180 |
Vol 9 | 02/08/2020 | 21/01/2021 | 172 |
By the time he is confirmed for a second term (having won a bigger majority than the first election, built a wall between USA and Mexico, saved the world at least a million times as well many many other fantastic things) the thread will be towards the back end of Vol 9
If this posting rate continues for the second term
Thread | Start Date | End Date | Days as President |
Vol 9 | 02/08/2020 | 29/01/2021 | 8 |
Vol 10 | 29/01/2021 | 28/07/2021 | 180 |
Vol 11 | 28/07/2021 | 24/01/2022 | 180 |
Vol 12 | 24/01/2022 | 23/07/2022 | 180 |
Vol 13 | 23/07/2022 | 19/01/2023 | 180 |
Vol 14 | 19/01/2023 | 18/07/2023 | 180 |
Vol 15 | 18/07/2023 | 14/01/2024 | 180 |
Vol 16 | 14/01/2024 | 12/07/2024 | 180 |
Vol 17 | 12/07/2024 | 08/01/2025 | 180 |
Vol 18 | 08/01/2025 | 21/01/2025 | 13 |
So my prediction is Vol 9 by end of First term and Volume 18 at the end of the second term
Of course all bets are off if he gives into pressure to bring in legislation regarding stricter gun control - I'd have to say then Vol 5 would be it - maybe just sneaking a little into Vol 6 to cover the funeral - Mainly down to the PH std response for a now available Melania
I was bored - JM2pW
Bannon has clammed up.
Hearing more about the shooting. What are the odds that it's used as justification to roll out more surveillance and extend NSA etc powers to US citizens. Rather that than gun control, eh? The FBI appatently couldn't identify a YouTube user. Even with an informant on the phone. Yikes.
