Another stinging defeat for the Commies:

If you hate your own country so much that you want to use immigration from countries with incompatible cultures in order to alter it beyond recognition, why not just FO to another country instead?

Is it because your own country has a better standard of living?

Well why do you think that might be?

That article is confusing, is Trump an ignoramus or is he some evil genius capable of hijacking the world's proudest democracy and turning it into a fascist dictatorship?

When he refers to the rigging of Brexit I presume he's talking about the UK Government spending taxpayers money on pushing Remain?
Trump is an ignoramus - he knows nothing of culture or history. That doesn't prevent him, with others around him from attempting to subvert the Constitution.

Ignoramus doesn't mean exactly the same thing as ignorant. It means somebody completely unknowledgable, uneducated and uninformed - a total fool.

Trump is not a total fool - I think he's an ignorant man when it comes to a large number of things, but he's clearly a pretty clever man.

Probably centuries of invasion and occupation / exploitation by militarily more powerful nations, usually coupled with regime change.

He didn't question Brexit, he flat-out claimed the result was rigged.

With all respect Eric, that has been tried.

You yourself have engaged just recently. Even you can't ignore some of the rubbish spouted.

I am not going to,
Personally I quite enjoy the piss taking in between reading the interesting links posted up by Byker and others. smile

A Harley-Davidson should never be built in another country-never! Their employees and customers are already very angry at them. If they move, watch, it will be the beginning of the end - they surrendered, they quit! The Aura will be gone and they will be taxed like never before!

Threatening new taxes on a company for trying to protect their business. Nice.

The parallels between Trump and the 1930's fascists are obvious and telling. Attack the press, ridicule all opposition as false ("fake"), demonize foreigners, use executive decrees to subvert the democratic process, practice blatant nepotism by appointing family members to key positions (see Mussolini), encourage followers to be violent (Charlottesville / Reichstag Fire / Fascist march on Rome), attack central institutions (FBI, Justice dept etc..), repeated dog whistles to the racist minority who form the base. Like Hitler, Trump was also elected by a minority and proceeded to rule like an emperor.

Those who fail to see Trump for what he is or choose to ignore it are as culpable as the naïve Europeans and appeasers of the 1930's.
Just to be clear about Charlottesville.

That was the fault of Two Primary parties.

1 The governor for cancelling the protest by the Nazis and conservatives and
2 Antifa.

Those were the two primary factors. The Nazis and conservatives turned up armed and ready as they had been advised Antifa were attending with the intention of being violent as usual and the Nazis and conservatives decided enough was enough and if Antifa wanted to be violent they would get the same back.

The governor closing down the Nazi and conservative protest very early on very likely led to the nutter wanting revenge against those he saw as being responsible in the form of the protestors it did not matter if they were Antifa or not in his mind.

No not really. Just someone who doesn't buy into all the BS spread about.

I have watched a lot of footage from that event. I have read a great deal about that event.

I do not excuse the Nazis beliefs.

I do not claim to have been in the mind of the loony who drove into the protesters.
It does however seem likely he did so as he felt they were to blame for the statue protest being cancelled very early and frankly simply for protesting against his beliefs.
