The worst thing that happened at Charlottesville was a man running over a st load of pedestrians.

That was primarily the fault of Anitfa and the Government - right?

Please tell me where I've got you wrong.

It does however seem likely he did so as he felt they were to blame for the statue protest being cancelled very early and frankly simply for protesting against his beliefs.
Oh right, that's ok then.

I guess if some of them were wearing short skirts they'd have been asking for a rape too.

Bit of balance.

Blame all round

I mean only one side killed someone and is was called a domestic terrorist by Jeff sessions. Grrrrrr bloody Anti Fascists. Nice chinos though, they did well to cordinate outfits.

Not my problem you cannot understand the difference between holding a belief and being violent towards others.

I didn't say the Nazis were not engaging in violence because they did but only because they came under physical attack for their beliefs.

You don't have a right to physically attack someone just because you disagree with their beliefs or something they said.

Just to be clear about Charlottesville.

That was the fault of Two Primary parties.

1 The governor for cancelling the protest by the Nazis and conservatives and
2 Antifa.

Those were the two primary factors. The Nazis and conservatives turned up armed and ready as they had been advised Antifa were attending with the intention of being violent as usual and the Nazis and conservatives decided enough was enough and if Antifa wanted to be violent they would get the same back.

The governor closing down the Nazi and conservative protest very early on very likely led to the nutter wanting revenge against those he saw as being responsible in the form of the protestors it did not matter if they were Antifa or not in his mind.
Sorry I just read that again and laughed. At this bit

"That was the fault of the governor for cancelling the protest by the Nazis"

Seriously I literally can't think of some crappy sarky comment to make about not allowing Nazi's to protest. Good to see that the Governor is single handedly stopping the rise of fascism in America as suggested by some by not allowing Nazi's (fking Nazi's!!!!!!) to protest.

They won't be allowed a bake sale at the WI next. (although to be fair my Nan was a bit rough and ready when it came to people of "africa and what not")

This lefties head is blown wide open.

Well i don't know I mean i think someone being killed over a simple protest is pretty fking wrong but then it likely would not have happened if Antifa had not turned up and been violent, which in turn caused the governor to close down the statue protest very early, which in turn likely led the nutter to drive into the protesters out of anger and resentment at the protest being closed down.

Driver of car was a braindead sack of st but likely would never have driven into the protesters if the Nazi and conservative protest had not been closed down very early through violence and disruption by Antifa and other groups in attendance.

Its fairly simple stuff.Cause and effect. If you want to see it as excusing the drivers actions in establishing WHY he did what he did then that's on you.

God all those allied troops wouldn’t have died if they just didn’t turn up and fight the Nazis! It’s our own silly fault isn’t it!

Pathetic and abhorrent.

No not really. See the Nazis Were actually KILLING people so troops were sent to stop them.

A bunch of ignorant morons who believe in the same values as Nazis turn up to peacefully protest about statues being removed is NOT THE SAME THING.

No one was being harmed and likely no one would have been killed and likely they would not have received any form of validation if immature, irrational people had not turned up and been violent towards them.

Turn up and protest beliefs or actions you disagree with. There is NO excuse for violence. Violence begets violence.

You are like most sane people welcome to take a dim view of Nazis and Nazism. You are welcome to turn up and protest at a Nazi event.

What you are NOT welcome to do at ANY event is inflict violence against others just because they hold a view you disagree with no matter how abhorrent.

"One of the basic tools of fascism is the rigging of elections – we’ve seen that trialled in the election of Trump, in the Brexit referendum and (less successfully) in the French presidential elections"

Where's the question? That is a flat-out statement of fact without evidence. He is not saying "the election may have been rigged" he is asserting that it was.

edit: in fact it's worse than that - he's asserting that it was rigged by fascists.

First it was anyone who isn't actively on this thread posting bad things about trump is a trump supporter and an utterly bad person and now this. But wait it is trump who is the fascist. This thread just keeps on giving...
