Really, I thought her whole act in Dibley, was based on someone from Donny. wink
Harsh. But not entirely inaccurate. :-)

OK - obviously Doncaster - but what is the significance of linking her character in Vicar of Dibley with the town?

I don't recall the character even having a vaguely Yorkshire accent!

It was. Just the accent threw me.

Jesus guys. The character was a bit thick he’s implying everybody from Doncaster is a bit thick.

Really not that hard to extrapolate from context. I’m wondering if you guys got the jokes at the end of VOD

No need to swear. If it was a joke, it was totally lame - and dare I say it, inappropriate on nearly every level.

Eric, you do this a lot. You start a tangent then tell everybody they are out of order.
Nobody swore.

An attempts at comedy an a thread about a comedy actress is entirely appropriate I’d hazzard a guess that she would have approved.

I’m sure you are intelligent enough to have kept up with those two comments and understood them. Yet here we are again.

Is your middle name Alice perchance?
It was a joke that I'm sure Emma herself would have appreciated, and
most of the good citizens of Donny would understand.
And if you think the term "Jesus" is swearing, then dare I say, I imagine you
find almost everything inappropriate.

Apologies to everyone else apart from Eric"Alice" Mc, for detracting from the sad news.

EFA.
