Another case of reporting restrictions being in place. Does anyone know if TR exposed this case?

All those who think PayPal shouldn't have closed Tommy's account presumably also think HSBC were wrong to do this? https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/hsbc-closes-accounts-abu...
Are you happy with them doing so?

Somewhere that has been for all we can tell a success story of moderate Muslims the community and authorities turning around a dangerous mess of a mosque. A place that many of the trustees thought a long hard battle to reclaim their place of worship. After all that for the banks to kick them in the dick. Is to me a great way of giving the more extreme elements ammunition.

Having said all that at the time of the bank removing services and repeatedly throughout it's history the place has had quite tangible and direct links with terrorists their supporters.

And because of this HSBC give at least a reasoned economical explanation to why they took the decision and more than likely was a thorough discussion within the business about it. It wasn't just some right on multimillionaire coming up with some vague moral undefinable personal opinion based nonsense like "we don't like nasty people".

If you think control with censorship and denial of service by a incredibly small group of powerful out of touch supper rich individuals is a good idea and a good way of tackling problematic issues within society then you are a fool, not just that a dangerous one.

What criminal offence had the Mosque committed? Noe, as far as I’m aware. However they (HSBC) have the right to do business with whoever they choose, and if they don’t like the cut of your jib, they can tell you to FO.

It’s exactly the same as what’s happened to TR so it’s extremely hypocritical to suggest that one was a “fair and reasonable” and the other wasn’t. he only difference (afaics) is that TR has his apologists on PH whereas the Finsbury Park Mob don’t.

ETA A couple of years ago HSBC closed hundreds of SME accounts at short notice, supposedly on AML grounds. Not great for its’ customers but their bank, their rules.

When you're leaping to the defence of HSBC in order to make Paypal look bad, you might want to stop and have a think.

He seems to be on the recieving end of what the UK leader calls state sponsored persecution, all this because he was once a part of a group that he left for starting to go far right.

Seems TR's wife is just about as trustworthy as he is. Sorry, that should probably be 'was' as I'm sure she's just as reformed as he is.

and he's NOT a racist.

He wasn't just 'a part' of the EDL though was he? He formed it and stated (many times) he was ''EDL till I die''.

Are you seriously comparing the likes of Anjem Chaudhary a convicted terrorist sympathiser and funder. Someone who actively encourage violence.

To Tommy Robinson who as never promoted violence or supported terrorism only openly criticize an ideological group and done so personally in a legal way. Yes he is a convicted criminal but with unrelated crimes.
At worst he's been guilty of unfairly generalising and some crude comments none of which have been categorised as illegal.

This over exaggeration of people and issues does no one any favours. It's one of the things TR is criticised for but then repeated by the people criticizing him.

He’s been convicted three times of assault, one on an off duty policeman, and has several football banning orders for hooliganism.

I’d call that violent. .

The EDL and Pegida are arguably on the cusp of being terrorists, they just stay on the legal side of things, but barely. However, I guess as they’re to the far right of politics you’re happy with that.
