Taking the car through France and Belgium next month.
Anybody got any advice on pieces of black plastic tape for headlamp Euro convertion please? (It's the law, isn't it?)
Just to make life complicated, I have Lupos......
Any tips greatly appreciated.

I will have a similar problem with my Griff in the Summer and like you I have non standard lights (HID's) on mine.

My previous approach with non stock setups has been to park 1.5 mtrs in front of my garage and play with electrical tape to get the right shape. I have then trimmed some OEM looking headlight cover stickers to the right shape and just put it there on the ferry. Or at home the day before if I'm driving during daylight on the way to the port when going out.

Just get some stick on beam benders like these. Only £4 and I think I've seen them for less in bargain shops.

Where you off to Peter? Spa?

You also need a high vis jacket for each passenger (kept in the car) spare bulbs, warning triangle and first aid kit.

Thanks guys.

Hi Graham. Yes, off to the Spa Classic! Quietly excited now as it's only 3 weeks away. I've got all the other bits and pieces, and I'm aware of the hi-vis jackets IN the car and not in the boot. Just trying to book the weather now! thumbup

Never bothered with beam converters myself. How much night driving are you going to do?

Not really planning on any, just trying to give nit-picky Le Plod one less thing to mutter about.

Spa is a great weekend and the roads are amazing. Are you booked on track? Last year was so warm and we had a great Saturday night in Spa town centre, then a late night roof off drive back to a near by town!
