Washing machine faulty

Hi All,

Beko 5100W. It fills up fine, but regardless of the program selected, whether a wash or just a spin and drain, the drum will spin a few times and stop. It'll repeat this every 2 minutes or so, as though it's trying to initiate the program but never quite makes it.

I've checked the filter and waste pipe and they're both clear. Taken the panel off the rear and nothing looks untoward inside, although admittedly no idea what I'd be looking for.

Any ideas?

Could be that the drain pump has gone or is clogged with crap so it can't drain itself?

I've not got a clue where it would be on your model, but my Hotpoint, there's a small door on the front bottom right hand side with a screw cap in it - I took this out when mine did a very similar thing to yours and it was full of ste. Cleaned it out and it's been tickety boo ever since, so could be worth looking at that on your one

ETA - I think (from memory), the machines check the pump is working before every cycle to avoid it filling itself up and not being able to empty itself, so might well be this if it's doing it on various cycles.
