So i no longer have Sky TV until the non dish version comes out in the next year or so ... Im looking for a easy way to run Eurosport player through my LG Smart TV but cant find where or if i can download the app onto the TV . Dont want to buy Apple TV as its another thing to run turn on, or sign up for a subscription when i already pay £5.99 for player. I thought with this new TV i would simply down load the app and off i go .
Anyone else running the app on the TV itself.?

Could be an of option, as looks like it’s not in the LG App Store?

Assuming you don’t have android phone, as this should allow mirroring. If the app is on a laptop, google chrome cast is a relatively cheap option to throw to a tv, or amazon fire stick.

Mirroring to the LG is very laggy. Chromecast works very well though.

Sorry for the resurrection of this thread wink
I intend on spending my "Le Mans" week on a campsite in Belgium, I don't like to travel abroad with all restrictions changing as you blink your eye.
I'd like to buy a LG smart TV and either stream Eurosport player from my smart phone or download Eurosport player on the TV itself. My only source of internet will be the wifi hotspot on my phone.

Do you have Amazon Prime? I have the Eurosport Player app on my Firestick (not sure if you're LG TV has Amazon built in, my Hisense does?) and then watch it through that on TV

I used the EuroSport player last year for the TDF, Vuelta, Giro and of course Le Mans, installed and ran it on my FireStick on an older HD TV we have in our den, work really well and was able to cancel it when I had watched everything.
