Price doesn't surprise me really.

What a motor. It'd be top of my list of classics to own after lottery win.

I loved the video, but a dream was shattered when I saw just how cramped Harry looked in the Miura (and he's not a large guy). I noticed that he had to drive with the sun visor down the whole time in order to gain a precious 1cm on headroom. A very sad day for me.

Also, 1.3 million !!

As with all Italian sports cars of that era, it was built for the average, ie long armed short legged, Italian!

That was a fabulous video, really authentic to the Miura experience. It looked like that car had SV rear suspension; it improves handling considerably. You can also fit the SV sump to get around the shared oil issues as well.

He's 6' 1" he says so even slightly under that and you're fine. You can also get a collar put into the steering column which brings the steering wheel back by about 4cm. It may not sound much but it makes a big difference if you don't have arms like an Orang Utan.

I went to buy a Countach once but was very disappointed to find my head was touching the roof and the footwell was so cramped that my right foot covered both brake and throttle. I was utterly devastated that day and still remember how I felt even 20 years later.

Great video - thanks for posting that.....

The Muira was and is impossibly beautiful. It inspired one of my purchases when the concept Muira didn't happen.

I had a half opportunity at a Miura when I bought the Daytona I used to have. I'm 6'4" and a larger athlete...no chance.

Daytona had plenty of room in it though (Italian sports car of the same era smile).

Concours Het Loo 2018:

A Miura is from another planet. It is so beautiful it will make your eyes water. Last friday I sat in this one.

Did I fit in? Well, only just. Is it magic? Hell yes.
