I believe that they are quite good at triggering clashes or even completely staging them in order to film them for social media. A lot of the images do look a bit too conveniently polished. Fair enough it's an asymmetric conflict and they need to use media as a weapon. But I certainly wouldn't take all incidents and images at face value.

Sorry maybe I'm being thick - are you saying that the 41 people killed and 1800 wounded are for social media clips....

You have to be kidding.

So a budget of f-a squared they can contrive images like the one above? I'm surprised those creative geniuses haven't be hired by Hollywood.

Show us what images look a bit too conveniently polished.

That image would be a result of the bold bit.

Maybe if Gaza wasn't being blockaded the Palestinians wouldnt be risking their lives by protesting.

Maybe if people in Gaza stopped lobbing missiles into Israel it would not be blockaded.

I dont think he's claiming the images are fake. I think he is trying to say the the people have been manipulated in order to become victims, which can then be used for propaganda.

Wind the mob up and push them in the direction of the guns.

David Cameron (who wasn’t exactly an apologist for Arabs or anti-Israel) once said “Gaza cannot and must not be allowed to remain a prison camp. People in Gaza are living under constant attacks and pressure in an open-air prison”.

Sure violent protests aren’t the answer but Israel is far from innocent in all of this - their actions are leading to the deaths of innocent Gazans who have nothing to do with the current protests.

Maybe if they hadn’t elected a genocidal, racist ,terrorist organisation to represent them ,and had accepted one of the multiple 2 state solutions Israel had agreed to ,things might not be so bad ?

Its the same old, same old with the pictures. The Palestinians are being manipulated and used as human sacrifices by Hamas and the IDF cant resist a game of whack a mole.

In the red corner: The under dog Teenage Palestinian armed with a slingshot, and a long bald tyre of an old merc and whatever pointy rocks he can find.

In the Blue corner: IDF squaddie, very well equipped and can shoot the wings off a fly at 200 yards.

Remind me again which one routinely bombs not just the Palestinians but other countries such as Syria? Which one assassinates people it doesn't like? Which one evicts people from their homes to allow Settlers to move in?

You refer to a 2 state solution - does that mean the settlers are going to be vacating the West Bank?

If the Israelis are the baddies. Why has Egypt also closed it's border with Gaza?

Or is it reopened. Are the current protests at both borders?

So electing Hamas was a good idea then ?
And with regards to a 2 state solution, from what I recall the last offer which Abbas turned down in 08 returned 98.5% (and with East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital ) of pre 67 land back to Palestinians so I’m guessing that would have involved vacating large tracts of the West Bank.

yeah this will never end until one side is wiped out completely. Then they will start fighting internally about something else until that side is wiped out.........then - when it's peaceful, they'll fight about football or some st.

people are stupid.........that's just it really.

Radio 4 interview a couple of women on the way to these protest who were taking their children.

The interviewer asked if they were worried the children would get hurt of killed

No they answered, the land needs blood,
Not only were they not worried they were hoping their children became martyrs.

Interesting culture they have.
