Apparently its ok to insult people based on their race, gender or appearance now?

That what it means!

Wondered what it was, but many a labour unionista fits the bill as well. Many who like a tad too much pop and on the sea front struggling to waddle around types as well.

I see many in football crowds. Almost guaranteed with the shirt off brigade.

Tricky. Hard to be certain with this one.

No different to the abuse/piss taking I've put up with all my life being ginger. Well it is different I suppose because people choose to be angry opinionated bigots, which inevitably turns their little faces gammon pink.

Loads of gammon on the PH brexit threads.

This article suggests that as well as the racial and ageist aspect it also has class connotations.

I didn't know Gloria wrote for the Guardian. The closing lines have his debating style down to a tee.

It’s funny how the gammon, who are the first to throw terms like snowflake around, are getting all upset and offended at having labels applied to them.

It highlights why free speech is so important. There should never be any words that cannot be used.

Why would I want to risk hiding one of the best methods I have for judging the intellect of other people?

Yes. Perhaps gammons should consider wearing a burqa, then we wouldn't be able to see their angry little faces and they wouldn't get the piss taken. Well, not for being gammon faced any way.

Cry babies. Can dish it out but can't take it.
Any examples of these cry babies on here?

Personally, I love it when anyone uses derogatory terms in response to
something I've said, it's proof that a nerve has been well and truly touched. smile

Excellent to see the hard left once again taking aim squarely at it's own foot.

Gammon - boiled then roasted with cloves and a brown sugar coating on a bed of pineapple.

Served with roasted tatties and sundry other veg.

Yum yum.

Probably those who regularly write 'snowflake' and 'political correctness'.

'Snowflake' / 'gammon' are simply ad hominem attacks, and indicative of being unable to put forward an argument to support a viewpoint.

How so Timmy? What's wrong with the term? Are you equating it to racial abuse?

The most gammon-faced public figure I can think of is David Cameron, and he hardly fits the bill. hehe

Not at all, if Corbynites want to use that term for those who have different politics it's up to them. Just saying it's going to do them no favours at all.

Can you be a gammon if you're black or brown?

Not a fan of the traditional 1970's pineapple ring accompaniment?
